雖然入住這天是大霧天，但依然能感受到自然和民宿的美，管理員為我們非常詳細的介紹了民宿的各個角落，民宿內的氛圍超級棒，據説建築者是一對藝術家夫婦，確實能感受到他們的藝術品味與巧思，建築物內部還有和藝術家合作的展覽區域。很適合喜歡鄉野氣息又愛藝術氛圍的人入住。民宿也可以第二天早上決定需不需要追加早餐服務，我們因為行程安排提早離開了，但有看到營養均衡的自助早餐擺盤

My wife and I stayed one night at this inn in mid May—we both agree that it was definitely a highlight of the trip. Our inn’s host, a young Polish gentleman by the name of Hubert, was incredibly helpful and attentive to our needs. The owners were also very kind in helping us get our luggage into the building during a strong rain and wind storm. The inn itself was exceptional—the farmhouse has been renovated and added onto in a manner recently that showed a strong appreciation for artistic architecture in its design. We could see from our window the sea, and almost missed (until checking out) was a beautiful waterfall and river beside the building.

Great little guesthouse off the beaten path in iceland between western fjords and snaefellsnes peninsula. Rooms were super comfy. They have a shared kitchen that you can cook in.

If you are looking for an amazing place to stay that’s off the beaten path this is it! Also make sure to sign-up for dinner. It was one of the best meals we had during a week in Iceland.

best guesthouse experience
Best guesthouse experience in Iceland. The location - by waterfalled cliffs and the bay - is beautiful, in an entire country of beautiful locations. The guesthouse itself functions also as an art space, which you can see in the entry hallway as well as in the design / decor of the place. The service is excellent - Thora and Sumar are wonderful hosts (and great gardeners) and Hubert was exceptionally welcoming. Also, notably eco-friendly - e.g., the food they serve they grow in their own greenhouse and/or source it locally, they compost, etc. Was the most peaceful time I had in Iceland and would absolutely stay here again.
