Fabulous place a bit out of the way but worth going to. Really friendly staff, including our waiter Artruro. The food was very delicious. Love the sauna and hot tub. Just a 20 min walk to a lovely waterfall. The rooms were clean and very roomy with 2 comfy chairs to sit upon. Highly recommend this hotel. It is a gem!

Great place. Everything at the property was clean and well appointed. Dinner was excellent and the after dinner walk to the falls was refreshing. Owner was very friendly and helpful. We will absolutely stay here the next time we visit Iceland.

Situato in mezzo al nulla, in un contesto naturale incredibile, è gestito da un ragazzo gentilissimo e molto disponibile. Camere molto accoglienti anche se essenziali, ci sono sauna e una jacuzzi, salone comune ampissimo e ben arredato, colazione dolce/salato già pronta con prodotti buonissimi. Serve anche la cena fino alle 21. Consigliatissimo!!!!

In the middle of nowhere. Drie kwartier gravel. Allervriendelijkst ontvangen. Kamer is basic maar schoon en ruim met zitje. Douchecabine wc en wastafel. Waterkoker voor thee en koffie. Sidetable. Bedden prima. Sauna en hottub. Diner gebruikt vis (cod) met rijst en cid met aardappelpuree gratin. Beide erg goed. Rabarbertaart wat erg zoet. Ontbijtbuffet met van alles gekookt ei worst kaas toast zoetigheden koffie thee fruitdrank yoghurt vruchten. Omgeving is mooi, ligt tussen kust en bergen. Stilte.

I had the chance to stay at Vogur Country Lodge on May 25, and it was a wonderful surprise to discover such an outstanding place nestled in breathtaking natural surroundings. The views are incredible—majestic mountains with waterfalls on one side and a serene sea dotted with small islands on the other. The room was superb and the bed exceptionally comfortable. The service was equally impressive—warm, attentive, and professional. The food was absolutely delicious, adding to the overall fantastic experience. Super Lodge. Wir haben ein sehr schönes Zimmer im Haupthaus gehabt. Das Nachtessen sowie das Frühstück waren sehr gut und qualitativ top. Das Personal erlebten wir hilfsbereit und freundlich. Die Lodge ist abgelegen und über eine unbefestigte Strasse erreichbar. Für uns hat es sich aber auf jeden Fall gelohnt.

Out of 12 days in Iceland, this was the best stay experience we had. Artur and Konstantin were so nice and helpful, even for just two guests. They bent over backwards for us, had great recommendations, the best food we’ve had, and made us feel so at home. This place is a hidden gem and I hope many, many more people go and see them!
