It had been a pretty fraught day crossing the Western Sahara from Mauritania culminating with an 11.30pm arrival in Dakhla. Check in was efficient and the room was clean which accounts for the 2 stars. The shower had no surround meaning that everything in the bathroom got wet - except the toilet paper because there wasn't any. The bed was big and comfortable but it was Saturday night and the road out front was social central with cars revving and tooting until the early hours. Not much sleep. The airport which was about 30 minutes walk away. Just a bit too far for an early morning flight so I had asked about a transfer and been told that it would cost the dinar equivalent of US$5. However, when I came down at 6.45am the cost had suddenly risen to US$20 and I was told that there would be no taxis available that early on Sunday so what was on offer, the US$20 ride in the hotel car, was the only game in town. Too late then to walk but very irritating to be more or less blackmailed into paying that ridiculous amount for what was a 5 minute drive. Recommendation - find another hotel in Dakhla. There are plenty to choose from.

Such an exceptional team, who are here to take extra care of the clients for each one of there small whims, they just exceeded my expectations! The place is perfect to relax , surf, and other activities, the full board buffet is really rich and quality, you can hear the waives all day and night long from you bungalow ,which is just amazing, The hotel has all facilities , i do recommend the place either in solo or family as the site is really exceptional and the staff is always smiling and available , had such a memorable stay, and looking forward to come back!

It was surprisingly clean. The view of the ocean from the room and the pool were stylish. There was free round-trip transportation from the airport. It was about a 20 MD taxi ride to the city.

What a lovely hotel. My stay here was perfect. A wholesome breakfast is served on the roof looking out over the sea. This was a great start to the day. The staff were friendly and helpful. As a lone traveller dakhla wasn't the easiest place in terms of getting to the desert and other attractions but the staff pointed me in the right direction. A clean, safe and friendly place to stay. I would recommend.
