Hotels in Hoa Hai, Da Nang

A nice hotel. Well equipped. Restaurants are really good. The best however is the pool and the direct beach. Both are amazing and absolutely stunning. Some areas of improvement: the rooms have a stone tile floor and no carpet at all. That makes them loud and not comfortable at all. The shower heads will benefit from a strong cleaning and mold removal. Otherwise - a great opportunity to stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Danang Marriott Resort and Spa. It was me, my wife, my 2 year old, and 5 month old. The breakfast was one of the best we have experienced in our travels in southeast Asia, with a wide variety of Asian and Western cuisines. We especially enjoyed the Bahn Mi and ice cream stations. We were given complimentary alcoholic drinks (2 per adult, per day) because we were staying for 5+ nights. This was nice surprise. There were 5 or 6 pools to choose from, with varying sizes. We especially enjoyed the lounging area that was between the toddler pool and main pool, which allowed us to be with our kids but also cool down when needed. The beach was beautiful and never crowded. The waves were a little rough, but a great option for cooling down. There were plenty of loungers by the pools and the beach. The beach bar service was great, with drinks and food coming out efficiently. The staff were all amazing. We did not have any bad experiences with them during our 6 day stay. They were friendly and playful with our toddler and helped with any questions we had. My wife enjoyed the spa as she went for a massage on our final morning. The location is between Danang downtown area and Hoi An. This was great for us because we wanted to visit both areas but if you are wanting to be walking distance to restaurants, bars, sights, it might be better to choose a location closer to one of the busy areas. Overall, a fantastic trip and we look forward to returning in the near future.

Feedback on Sheraton Grand: During my recent stay, the reception service crew member, Thanh Vo, did not collect the payment from me since the booking indicated payment over the counter. This created inconvenience, as I had to contact the counter to settle the payment. Additionally, the hotel required extra procedures to process the credit card payment. Throughout this process, I had to make calls, reply to emails, and follow up, which was highly inconvenient. I hope Sheraton Grand can take note of this issue and work on improving the guest experience. Feedback on Trip.com: I would recommend adding a reminder message for users booking rooms during midnight hours (after 12 am) to avoid confusion regarding the booking date. This would help ensure users select the correct date and prevent errors during late-night bookings.

Good service, poor hardware facilities Pros: Lots of space and beautiful beach shortcoming: Only one of the three rooms has a bathtub If the hot water for bathing is not enough to fill a bathtub, it will become cold because it is a heat storage bucket. One of the shower gel bottles has a broken mouth and cannot be squeezed out. One of the hair dryers failed All bed frames make abnormal noises when they shake slightly. Only two spa coupons are given Tennis equipment rental can only be paid in cash, not by credit card

I would go back to Vietnam just to go here. It's so so so good. It's a new resort, so it's clean, and most of all, it's so, so, so pretty. If you're wondering where to go for a resort, definitely go here. The front desk staff were all so kind that it made my trip even more enjoyable and memorable:) I wasn't going to write a review, but I felt like I had to write one for this resort, so I'm leaving one. It's really the best!! If I had to write a downside, um...um...if you stay for more than 2 nights, breakfast is good enough to eat every other day, and dinner isn't worth spending a lot of money on^^^Order Grab~~Café drinks are just so-so.. There's nothing around, so I definitely recommend going to the mart and buying all your groceries. And overall, the interior is wooden, so you can see a few tiny bugs, but even I, who hates bugs, was okay with it. I also replaced the shower filter, and compared to other hotels, the filter wasn't that dirty. It was just a resort full of advantages. It was a shame that I couldn't go to the beach because I went during the rainy season, but I recommend it because it's a place where you can be happy just by looking at the ocean view from your room!!!

Nice & huge resort, slighly out of the commercial area. But rooms were well maintained and breakfast spread was huge. There it's no short of amenties as massage, gym, bars/restaurant & activities all within the resort. Also there is numerous pools within resort with 2 beach front infinity with direct accessible to the beach. Staff service was exceptional. Overall great value stay around Danang area.

Location: 8.5/10 The hotel is about a 20-30 minutes taxi / grab to Hoi-An or Danang city. However, we know about this before hands, and it is a resort, so we have nothing to complain about. Service: 8.5/10 – All of the staff members are helpful with a huge smile on their faces. Room: 10/10 The room size is very spacious and looks very new. One very important thing is that the room is just one step away from the swimming pool and with the beautiful ocean view. Facilities: 8.5/10 The hotel provides a wide range of facilities, including: a swimming pool with lots of kids' swim equipment and toys, a gym, various classes for kids and adults, and entertainment on the beach. Wow wow wow wow! Situated in between Hoi An and Danang City. We couldn’t decide which area to stay but this area allowed easy grab taxis at low costs and equal time to commute in either direction. At 1/3 of the cost of most resort hotels, this place has multiple pools, private beach access, beautiful views and private cabanas on request. Pool tables, karaoke, darts etc. lots to do on site for relaxing days. If you cannot decide in which city to stay, please pick here!

There are not many villas that can accommodate 3 families in Danang. We visited Furama and The Ocean, and they have pros and cons. Furama: Breakfast is available and the private pool is quite large. You can also use the auxiliary facilities and the outdoor pool is nice. However, it is expensive. The Ocean: The interior is similar to Furama, but the spacing is wider. Delivery and Grab are available to the front of the villa. You can communicate directly with the manager and make requests and adjustments. The chef comes and cooks breakfast, and the food is okay, but the menu is limited, so I do not recommend it. However, the food is delicious. The price is cheaper than Furama.

We recently stayed at the Koi resorts at Da Nang. We researched and compared the prices, amenities, accessibility etc and zeroed in on this resort. We booked through trip.com and got a good discount of approx 25%, we were a group of 8 adults and 2 kids. The overall experience at the resort was fantastic, the villa quite huge, with awesome pool (common and within the villq) and beautiful location, but let me start with a few negatives: - while this is advertised as a 4 bedroom villa, it’s more like 3.25 bedrooms. The room downstairs is for just one person, my dad had to get an extra bed to be placed in the living room and slept there. - For the 2 bedrooms on first floor, there is only one common toilet and bathroom, 4 people using 1 bathroom and toilet is a bit difficult. Would be good if they had done an attached bathroom and toilet for every bedroom (considering the space available is huge). - When we reached, the aircon was not working, we had raised a complaint and they fixed it later by cleaning up the filters - The toilets get very smelly as there is no proper ventilation (there’s a fan in the roof) but not good enough to remove the smell. Once again, we complained and they did some fix. Didn’t result in much of change. - We are vegetarians, so there’s very limited options in the breakfast buffet, but they do oblige to make local vegetarian dishes separately for you if you request (the spring rolls, Pho, curry soup and glass noodles were lipsmacking!) Despite all of these negatives, it’s the staff who are amazing and make up for all the shortcomings. They are forever smiling, very sincere and earnest, extremely polite and attend very promptly to your every single need. Not even once did we see them show even the slightest irritation or delay things. They had almost become like friends with us and they went extra mile to make sure we are taken good care of. The property is maintained spick and span, with beautiful landscaping and overall impeccable service. Absolutely enjoyed the experience, thanks and Kudos to the team!
