Booked a sea view room. Compact, well maintained,friendly budget hotel. Staff are good. Beach is within walkable distance. Limited breakfast spread which was good. English in Vietnam is poor, but the staff here can manage to communicate in English. There are many other hotels which are directly opposite to the beach, with better sea view rooms.... but for this price range, i think it's worth it.

The room was okay, but the quilt didn't seem to be washed, and the service was average. The picture is the view from the front desk who was promoted to upgrade to a sea view room for an extra fee.

Experience in this Hotel was so Amazing coz we took twin suits with ocean view…Awesome!! We literally seen sunrise everyday😍. Hotel Staffs are so friendly & helpful. Loved the breakfast, mixed with Vietnam local foods as well…yummy! We didn’t missed our 6days… I hv oni one improvement which they should implement more effectively to inform ppl who stay here abt the mini bar setup in the room which is chargeable actually. Otherwise hotel, ocean view, skybar with pool and lots of shops, restaurants,street food, spa, massage, Indian cousins, & etc is so convenient. The triple room is made up from a double bed and a super single bed. The double bed is overly too small to accommodate even 2 small-medium size ladies- 150cm(51kg), 156cm(53kg). The bath room shower is rusted and water leaking everywhere, there is no hand towel on second night stay. The breakfast is terrible, the coffee taste like Chinese bitter medicine tea- look very black, u can taste the power and extreme bitterness. Very amazing and totally brand new taste for me on Coffee . The toaster need to manually control with your own timer in order not to burn the bread, after u pressed the switch down, it won’t jump up automatically . Moreover, there is not much choice for breakfast. Basically you can ignore the breakfast offer from the hotel and look for ur own choice of breakfast. I can hear the sounds at next door (my cousin is staying besides of my room) and even 2floors below. The sound from street is also very noisy at night. We are happy to move to another hotel in next visit.

I’ve stayed in many hostels and hotels across Vietnam and around the world, but this has to be one of the worst experiences I've ever had. Let me start with the positives: the room was spacious, but unfortunately, that’s where the good news ends. The cleanliness was highly questionable. The sheets were stained, and I couldn’t help but doubt if they’d been washed at all. As a solo traveler, I was given a twin room, which provided the option of using two beds. However, both beds were equally dirty, leaving me with no decent option. The bathroom, while visually appealing, was let down by the subpar toiletries. The shampoo smelled like an overpowering, generic men’s product, more suited to a budget gym locker room than a guest accommodation. A neutral scent would have been far more appropriate. Additionally, there was no hairdryer in the room—a real inconvenience if you have long hair like mine. The provided slippers were oversized, clearly designed for men, adding another layer of frustration. While I was glad to have a TV, it was nearly unusable. The YouTube app, which was a primary reason I booked the room, wouldn’t connect, and the TV itself was slow and difficult to operate. All in all, what should have been a relaxing stay was riddled with small but cumulative annoyances. The worst part, however, was leaving the room and heading to the dining hall. Breakfast was a major disappointment. The options were overwhelmingly carb-heavy and catered mainly to Vietnamese tastes, with dishes like rice, noodles, and curry. For a hostel that presumably caters to international guests, it’s baffling that the breakfast options were so limited and unappealing to a Western palate. The dining hall was also overcrowded, with too many guests at once, including children playing on phones at full volume—a noisy and stressful way to start the day. Service was inconsistent and, at times, awkward. On one occasion, a staff member greeted me with “Namaste,” assuming I was Indian, which left me taken aback. Some staff were better trained than others, but the overall experience was far from smooth. For instance, I ordered sunny-side-up eggs one morning, which were available, but the next day, I was told they weren’t offered and was given overly greasy fried eggs instead. This lack of consistency and the apparent lack of training among the staff were glaring issues. The dining hall itself was uncomfortably hot, making meals even less enjoyable. Tissue was nowhere to be found, adding to the overall discomfort. I chose this place partly because of its location, which is conveniently close to many bars, cafés, and the beach. However, it was also advertised as soundproof, which couldn’t be further from the truth. The constant noise from other guests, particularly children playing with the doorbells and loud voices at all hours, meant I never had a peaceful night’s sleep. Being woken up between 3 to 6 am became a daily occurrence, and it left me exhausted and frustrated. In conclusion, this hostel was far from worth the premium price. The service, quality, and overall experience fell drastically short of expectations. Here I am, still in my room with blood stained sheets, on the verge of booking another place because I simply cannot stay here any longer. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere.

The nicest sleep I had in my trip here in this hotel .spacious room, looks new. At a very strategic location in the street with nice local and western cuisines. Waking distance to beautiful beach. Most importantly, the hotel rate is so worth! Good service, and nice sky bar with pool facing to sea.

Comfortable bed, good housekeeping and great customer service. Great location, just a couple of minutes walk from the beach; lots of restaurants, cafes and markets nearby. Everything you need!

I just spent a vacation at Crowne Plaza Hotel in Da Nang. I am really impressed and extremely happy to have met the friendly people of Danang and the hotel is absolutely perfect according to my wishes. From Receptionist to Manager, all are so professional, the rooms are extremely clean and make me and my friends very satisfied. Especially you Huyen, very cute and very professional. If you come back, you will definitely choose Crowne Plaza as a resort. Thank you!

It's my first time in Da Nang & I booked this hotel for the value & ocean view for 10 days through Airbnb. I really loved the cleanliness & spaciousness of the room. The bed was big & very comfortable. You get a small table with two chairs, as well as a rocking chaise. You also get complimentary water, coffee, & tea. There's also a mini fridge & kettle. The bathroom was lovely, but I felt practicality got overlooked just to have it look good. It took me a bit to figure out the shower/tub knobs. (The top is for the water to go to the shower head or for the bath. The bottom is the temperature.) But to be honest, the tub is useless because there's not enough water pressure to fill it up.. .I tried. Unfortunately, I don't feel very rested with my stay here. Although the a/c got nice & cold, my air vent has had a whirring noise coming from it the whole time. One night a vibration kept going off & on in one of the rooms above or below me. What really upsets me the most is I got sick during my stay. And with the Coronavirus going around, I wanted to keep myself well rested & also not get others sick. However, housekeeping & the front desk became obtrusive, to the point of it feeling like harassment - when my door is obviously locked from the inside, then I yell, ”I'm okay!” to then having front desk call me. You all need to get DO NOT DISTURB signs!!! Then the next day they do this to me AGAIN. I go to the door & housekeeping is just sitting there. I'm up, so I just let them in. Mind you, I AM SICK. And one of the housekeepers starts scolding me for a new face sunscreen I wear that got on the pillowcase. Excuse me? I was already scolded by the front desk about this, which it turns out it was able to be washed out. I literally had FOUR people in my room for this. ***?!?! LET. ME. SLEEP!!! The staff here need to be educated on their boundaries with those choosing to stay here. Gossip & laugh at your customers? Really? Have some professionalism!!! Next time, see if whatever has gotten on the casing, sheet, or towel doesn't wash out. Otherwise you're just causing unneeded stress for BOTH parties. And if it doesn't, then we talk about the matter then. I didn't need to come to a hotel to feel like I had my parents to bother & chastise me. I came to relax, & that was the farthest I felt with my stay here. Which is unfortunate, because I adored my room, even with all the noises. I had to reach out & message my Airbnb Host to let him know what was happening. And, thankfully, they left me alone after that. So if you like sleeping in, this is not your place! Another thing that wasn't pleasant was my floor always smelled like cigarette smoke when I went to the hallway. When I would use my bathroom, I could smell that smoke coming into my room.
