Hyatt House Cypress Anaheim

Since 2004, I always stayed at Hyatt House in Cypress while I was in Los Angeles. Hyatt House in Cypress had nice complimentary breakfasts and friendly staffs. I could cook in my room. My friends and family could meet me any time in the cute garden next to the pool. I could wake up early, went downstairs to make a private phone call in the spacious living room at the entrance with furniture just far enough from each other. I felt comfortable staying here.

We love Cypress Hyatt, always return when we travel. Clean, spacious, and good quality food. My only issue is the sofa bed that it is too old, the middle springs are sinking. I have to insert to couch pillows between the mattress and the springs to support myself. I slept through my stay on the edge of my sofa bed. We will return, if I run into the similar issue, I will request a room change. Please consider conducting a routine maintenance or repair for the sofa bed, it is important for your guests.

Good hotel staff…very helpful and friendly. Got a good globalist experience with an early check in and late checkout and got a room upgrade. The only negative actually is the condition of the room. The room badly needs to be updated. When you enter the room the first thing you'll smell is the old and musty odor from the carpet. The sofa had visible stains on them. The bathroom is clean but some tiles were cracked and peeling. Hyatt seriously needs to renovate this hotel.

The one and only thing that guests look for in a hotel is cleanliness. I'm cutting my extended stay short as I can't live in this level of filthiness. Room smelled heavily of smoke; found hairs all over the place; checking out very sick after breathing from an air duct that has not been cleaned in decades; there is mold in the shower floor and walls, carpet look dirty, furniture very run down.... disgusting. Hyatt is seriously damaging its brand not auditing properties like this that destroy their reputation. Cristian from Front Desk is in desperate need of customer service training: dealing with an angry customer is an art; rolling eyes and throwing raspberries only aggravates the situation; admitting he's clueless around what Hyatt International is was the final nail in the coffin: staff here just dont care.
