Clean comfortable room, easily accessible for local amenities. Would visit again, highly recommended!

Great location at the bottom of the town centre. Very friendly receptionists. Good price for the room which was modern, fresh and spacious.

You know what you are getting with a Travelodge - a clean, decent, safe room at a great price. My room at this Travelodge was much bigger than usual. Theres no restaurant here, but its on a leisure park with restaurants like Harvester etc, so its only a big deal if you absolutely have to have a hotel buffet breakfast.

Staff (Kelly) was very friendly and helpful!! Clean and tidy, near a leisure park, with plenty of parking and restaurants etc.

What a fantastic holiday, made particularly enjoyable by the friendly, helpful and wonderful staff at the Travelodge Merthyr Tydfil. The welcome we received was heart warming. Our room was an amazing size, and spotlessly clean. Our pet greyhound was welcomed perfectly. The area that this hotel is located has a variety of fast food outlets, restaurants, pub, cinema and ten pin bowling. The location was ideal for exploring Wales. We highly recommend this hotel. We are definitely going to return to this amazing hotel. Thank you to all of the staff, for your wonderful service, welcome and total friendship.

Went out with date and had a lovely time. We went to king brychan and had few drinks then went into town but there were lots of places to go, like bowling, cinema and other places like gyms and nandos and mcdonalds but also king brychan for lovely food.
