The place has a signs-under construction and it really needs it. The layout of the rooms is fine- roomy and lots of space. But mold, rust on doors. 1942 carpet and drapes - which hung funny. Paint awful. Kitchen area fine. This could be a nice place with a large face lift.

Stayed here for one night to break up our trip to MI and check out CVNP. The hotel has been recently renovated. Room was clean and welcoming, check in/out easy, and the complimentary breakfast made it easy for us to grab a bite to eat before we left for the park. It’s a short 15 minute drive to The Ledges for hiking and easy to get back on the highway.

Stayed here for several days while visiting family. Convenient to downtown CF. Easy highway access. Plenty of parking. Coffee, hot water and ice water in lobby. Fridge and microwave in room. Quiet and good white noise with fan on. Suite style allows you to close off the bedroom. TV’s in both rooms. Comfortable bed with lots of pillow options. Updated rooms. Clean. Heated indoor pool. Exercise area. Hot expanded breakfast. The attention to details gave them this high rating. The housekeeping kept us fully stocked with towels and toiletries. Breakfast had outstanding service. Tina kept all the hot choices full and warm. Constantly cleaning. It was extremely busy and she kept up with the demand even making our waffles and delivering them to the table. We wanted to clean up after the baby and toddler food mess and she insisted we not worry about it and immediately picked up and wiped after them. My only complaint was no smoking rooms but smokers area right at the entrance. Put a sign to smoke away from front door entrance area. Highly recommend this hotel.

I came in town for a tournament and due and stayed at several hotels in the area. This hotel was a breath of fresh air compared to the others in downtown Akron. They offered a breakfast and had better amenities. Staff acted like they care about you stay. Very reasonable pricing. This hotel is a straight shot to downtown Akron as well. I will be staying here from now on.

From the outside when I pulled up I was worried because it looked like there were some repairs going on.
But once inside I was pleasantly surprised.
