Nice stay at the Premier Inn Cumbernauld. Hotel is a bit dated but the bed is good and the staff are excellent. Had breakfast and dinner at the restaurant and both were very good. Would recommend this hotel to anyone

Good stay at the nice but dated hotel. Staff are friendly and rooms are comfy however it could do with a refurb and the room was very hot especially at night. Used the restaurant a couple of times and enjoyed some nice food however similar to the hotel it’s in badly need of a refurb

Stayed for work as it was convenient to where I needed to be, and cheap Tick, Tick. Food is cheap and cheerful. Tick Tick. Staff friendly- Tick. So, to the negatives; You have to book online to eat despite that that are only about 5 people booked in to eat for the night (at least whilst I was there). The pub / restaurant is for guests only, and is very (very) quiet. If you are there for work it is fine- you can have a room, grab a beer and food. If you are on vacation, find somewhere else. When you look at the positive reviews (after staying here) you can see most are fake as the real ones are more personal and detailed. I have stayed here numerous times, and it wasn't that long ago it was okish, but has deteriorated. The pub has plaster hanging off the walls, wood paneling broken, external area looking like a dumpsite. If you are a tradesman looking for cheap digs then this is your place. If you are a tourist, explore your options

This is a below average premier inn. To be fair it was the hottest day of the year and they didn’t have air con, so the rooms were boiling hot. We did have fans but it’s just pushed hot air round, The quality of the rooms are below average - hole in the bathroom wall, curtain falling off its rail. The smoking area is the first thing to great you, at the bottom of the ramp for the entrance so it stinks as you go in. The evening staff member was lovely but the one as we left in the morning hardly acknowledged us. I wouldn’t go again.

A great location with plenty of food spots and amenities close by for you to either Travel into Glasgow or simply stay for a stop gap on a long drive, friendly staff and clean rooms are the main points of interest with the staff members giving not only local food recommendations but advising me and my colleague on local events and things to visit whilst in the local area was a real touch of class. Relatively modern interior decor to the rooms makes you stay nice and comfortable with large and comfortable beds in each and every room. The adjoining breakfast is a great selection with fast and friendly service provided throughout our entire one week stay. Ample parking, which is free of charge for hotel guests is available If I am ever in the area again for Work or pleasure, I will be definitely staying here as it’s not only live up to expectations but surpass them

Great hotel and friendly staff. Restaurant does the best breakfast with an all you can eat option. The manager Iain is happy to help with any issues and makes you feel welcome. I would recommend staying here to anyone travelling to Glasgow or Edinburgh.
