Centrally located with easy access to amenities, the accommodation impresses guests with friendly, efficient staff and a welcoming atmosphere. The nearby BeefEater restaurant offers highly praised breakfast.

Had a great experience in my stay here. Staff were very friendly and polite. I stay in premier inns often and the restaurant had good options compared to the old beefeater and the food tasted amazing! The staff explained the allergy awareness very well. My room was very clean and I very much enjoyed my stay! I’ll be back

The service from the staff was great. Even though the kitchen had been closed throughout my stay for dinner time, the service which was provided at breakfast was second to none. The hotel staff throughout the my stay couldn’t have been more helpful which was fantastic.

The hotel was up to normal standards. The restaurant was appalling. No staff to speak of, and a Chef with a bad attitude

Whilst the hotel staff are polite and accommodating, the pub next door are detrimental. I have been to this hotel twice on business and the same experience occurred on both occasions. The bar is never manned. You stand around and when finally patience is exhausted, you shout "hello" and someone comes out from the back. No apology for keeping you waiting which I find very unprofessional. On the last occasion, again after shouting for service, I also asked to order some food, two starters. I was in the bar area and showed the server where I was sitting. He said this was fine. 40 minutes later and with no food in sight, I went back to the bar, again had to shout for some attention and a very surly young lady came out...again no apologies for keeping me waiting. I asked for a drink and also to check on the progress of my food. I was told, and I quote, " we don't serve bar food". I said that maybe the guy I'd paid could have told me that and her response was, "we've never served bar food" and she just shrugged at me. She then left her station, I hadn't even paid for my drink and walked off with no explanation. I turned to the people behind me with disbelief and one of them pointed out that the card terminal was asking for my payment. I literally could have walked off with a free pint! The surly attitude laden lady returned with two bowls of food and said "is this it?" It certainly was. She took them to my table and literally tossed them on the table and walked off. At this point I'm now thinking this must be a bad joke as there was no cutlery and she had once again scuttled off to the back. So I got up, retrieved my own cutlery from the restaurant and then ate a portion of stone cold food. After a long drive, this is not the service I would have expected and I have now recommended to my company that we no longer use this site for our staff. It is also worth noting that the Premier Wifi is neither use nor ornament and I ended up tethering to my phone despite the £5 I'd paid for the premium service.

Not at all like the adverts, Pillows were flat and beds were so uncomfortable. Room very hot and could not open the window due to road noise and take away across the road. Never slept a wink. Shower was awful, in that said, the domestic really made the room spotless. Staff were lovely but sadly would not stay in Premier Inn again

We wer’nt informed beforehand that the restaurant next door was only open for breakfast! There was nowhere close by to go for a sit down meal. No bar to sit and relax. There was no wifi in our room, we reported the issue andwas given the ultimate code for 24 hrs. This still did’nt work, as we could not find a visible router.

On check in at 3pm went to bar for a drink but was told they were closed but would be open 6 until 10. We went at 7.30 and were told they were about to close. They reluctantly agreed to serve us but I feel we were given fries that were left over from the day. My steak was cooked well. We were approached whilst eating and I was actually asked if I was finished my meal. The next morning breakfast was cooked to orderas opposed to buffet. Needless to say the eggs had been standing a while and there was no tomatoes. Breakfast was a terrible standard. I will not be revisiting.
