Nice but too expensive!

Located at the Peninsula with stunning views. All the activities are fun and family-friendly. What a pleasant stay.

The overall experience was great, from arrival to departure. The entire team was wonderful. I would especially like to mention: - Rafaela from the pool, who was warm and welcoming, ensuring my time there was always enjoyable. - Santos, who made our breakfast amazing each morning. - Maria from concierge, who was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to speak with. - Freddy and Adolfo, our dinner servers, who were incredibly attentive and provided superb service. - Christopher, who hosted the rum tasting, made the experience engaging and fun by explaining all the rums exceptionally well. - Randy, who went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful experience throughout our stay; I can't thank him enough for his hospitality. There are many more names I’m forgetting, but I want to thank the entire team for making such a special moment for me and my family even better with all their genuine care. Additionally, from the amazing staff the hotel has the best location to enjoy a relaxing time by either one of the two beaches and a wide selection of activities to enjoy during your stay. I will definitely be coming back and will recommend anyone visiting Costa Rica to stay with you.

My wife and I stayed here 20 years ago, when the property was new and the Papagayo Peninsula was just being developed. I thought it was the nicest hotel I had ever seen. We just returned for the last few days of our family CR tour. Papagayo Peninsula is now much more developed, with amenities like paved roads. The hotel has been remodeled and expanded substantially. We’ve also seen a few additional properties with years of travel. It’s still the nicest hotel I have ever seen. Staff are amazing, the beaches are perfect, and the experience for our family was excellent. There are many other experiences and places to see in this amazing country, but this property is special.

Although the property is absolutely breathtaking, tranquil and accommodating, the star of our experience were the friends we made on the staff here. Each and every staff member – from the bartenders of Anejo, to the bellhops, to the golf cart rides up the mountain, concierge, pool staff, etc – every single person provided 10/10 customer service with a warmth, genuine interest and professionalism that we have not otherwise experienced. Book the Magical Mangrove canoe ride with Jose and Billy, and don’t pass up the amazing food options. I would go back just for the tuna tacos at Virador Beach Club.

First time visiting the hotel and Costa Rica. Wow. Did not disappoint. Hotel was amazing, great location, awesome food, lots of choices of activities. The people at the hotel were Amazing. The activities offered at the hotel and the adventure tours a lot of fun. Some of the tours are expensive but received top notch service when doing them

We attended a birthday party over the weekend at the Four Seasons and truly enjoyed our stay. The property is spectacular, beautifullly situated on the peninsula, with beaches on both sides. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a great view and a comfortable balcony for relaxing.We did a lot of excursions as well. We booked 2 full day tours with nomadtourscr Buena Vista and Sloth Adventure. Both were awesome although the kids liked Buena Vista more since it had zip lining, horseback riding, water slide and hot springs all in one. These were long days so happy we only did 2 during our 7 day stay. We also booked a fishing trip and ATV tour through Gabriel was super helpful and accessible. The fishing trip was a success with 5 fish in the boat and sushi on the way back. Also the hotel cooked some of the fish for us. The ATV tour took us to many parts of the island and was beautiful as well.

Everything was top notch, from arrival through departure. Staff remembered names as week passed, and every single person was friendly and helpful, making the entire vacation to Costa Rica unforgettable.

Spent three fantastic days the first week of August. Property and grounds are immaculate. Staff incredibly friendly, prompt, and seek to deliver on every request on a personalized basis. We did the Magical Mangrove and Monkey tours with Jody, booked through the resort, that were amazing. We never left the peninsula and had a great time. All of restaurants were great, but if I had to do all over would not have prepaid for breakfast.
