The Cruz Bay Boutique is delightful. It’s central to EVERYTHING! The property manager is soooo sweet. She provided me with a map and marked the places that I should visit. I carry this map with me faithfully. The employees are sweet as well. I really love it here. The rooms perfect. St. John is perfect.

Great location, you are about two blocks from the Cruz Bay Ferry terminal where you can walk to restaurants at Wharfside and Mongoose Junction, grab a taxi, hike the Lind Point trail. If you don't have a car, this is a great hotel because you can walk to many places or take the taxi. Only places a bit harder to get to is the opposite side of Cruz Bay where taxi don't really run to. The hotel offers light weight beach chairs, beach towels, sunscreen, bug spray, after sun care, and even goggle defogger. Very thoughtful and convenient especially if you do a carry on when you travel. Sunscreen is about $30 on the Island so it's great that you have access to it in the hotel. Sometimes they run out if too many people take the whole can with them vs applying and leaving it in the basket. They have a water cooler so you can refill your water bottle. Each room has a mini fridge so you can store some drinks or snacks. There is a balcony lounge that you can relax with drinks at the end of the night or to get together with friends. Rooms were very clean and they offer daily housekeeping. Breakfast includes organic bananas, coffee, tea, coconut powder creamer, yogurt and some packaged muffins. All pros, the only con I can think of was the shower in our room was a bit tight. Everyone at the hotel is very friendly and helpful. You can ask for recommendations of where to eat, where to go, how to take the taxi. Hospitality true to the definition. All these factors made our St John's vacation truly wonderful!

Tucked away only block from the town square and beach; a comfy cozy and really nice room! Small yet high quality and AC! Best of all is the open air veranda to eat free continental breakfast and relax until checkout. Denise was such a helpful personable host!

The hotel is cute and offers nice extras like beach chairs, continental breakfast, patio area and sunscreen. Very clean and friendly staff. The location is good. A few minute walk from the beach and fun bars. The owners were very helpful and a joy to chat with. Our reason for the 3 star rating was the bed was way too soft.

Where do I even begin. When we got to St John we originally were staying at a different place that was just bad and we knew we had to find another place to stay to save our trip from being terrible and stressful. We spent half a day on our phones just looking places up and calling and things were looking pretty bleak as it was St Patrick's day weekend and the island was extraordinarily busy. We started to walk around town and fortunately for us we found the most charming and quaint boutique hotels "Cruz Bay Boutique Hotel". We were happily greeted by Denise who saved the day and turned our trip completely around. She had availability and was soooooo incredibly accommodating to us. The front desk area is beautifully decorated and so very inviting with the pretty artwork, cute seating area and tropical plants. The rooms are tastefully decorated and probably the cleanest rooms we have ever stayed in anywhere and we get around. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are quiet and each room does have their own AC and ceiling fans so the temperature was perfect. The second floor has a very pretty, relaxing seating area surrounded with tropical plants and a beautiful view of the mountain. Another huge plus is the hotels location as it is in the very heart of Cruz Bay and you have everything at your finger tips. From restaurants and bars, shops, taxis etc... I would also like to point out that they have truly thought of everything you need. In the lobby they have a continental breakfast every morning. They have a spring water dispenser for your water bottles, a large freezer with bags of ice, cooler bags, sunscreen, beach chairs, beach towels, water noodles for the beach and super easy to read maps of the island in which they will go over with you according to your needs. If we could give 10 stars we would as Denise, Victoria and Karen are exceptional at making you feel right at home. This is our new St John go-to hotel as we won't stay anywhere else because it is that good.

Karen was super friendly and showed us lots of things to do Denise the owner we met on the 2nd day and she was great Clean & centrally located to a couple of really good restaurants. The one called sips, which is the coffee shop was the best that we found for breakfast. We went to high tide right on the beach and for lunch Sundog was fantastic the best chicken chicken tacos I have ever had.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week-long stay at the Cruz Bay Boutique Hotel and would recommend it to anyone seeking modesty priced (by St. John standards) lodging. However, first time visitors should be aware of what they are, and are not, getting. The rooms are very basic and small. The hotel doesn't offer much in the way of "amenities" (beach chairs, towels, coolers, and a basic continental breakfast). There's no pool, nor parking. What visitors WILL get is a very clean room, super friendly staff, and a nearly ideal location. If you're OK with "no frills" lodging, you'll likely find this hotel more than satisfactory.

This was my husband and I's first time in St John. We love that most of the island is a national park with so many stunning, pristine beaches (several that you can hike to from town in under an hour). I was hoping to find a cute hotel in the middle of town from which we could walk to everything; Cruz Bay is that place! First and foremost customer service is five stars. Denise was so incredible welcoming! She gave us a little map of the area and gave us the rundown on all the restaurants shopping and beaches, helping us get the most out of our little weekend get away. The room itself was the perfect size for a couple, had its own AC and mini fridge. It had a comfortable chair, two nightstands, lots of hooks/clothing hangers and 2 suitcase stands. The bed was very comfortable. They do the laundry right behind the main desk and everything just smells so clean and homey. The common areas such as the balcony and lobby by the desk are very welcoming with lots of places to sit. They offered complimentary amenities of continental breakfast, water, ice (even have mini coolers you can borrow), beach chairs, beach towels, reef safe sun screen and bug spray. There is also a steakhouse (Jerry's) that is very good in the same building and since we arrived late and were starving...worked out beautifully! There is also a coffee/pastry spot (Sips) less than a minute walk away... This hotel was perfect for us, and we can't wait to come back!

This is a charming and excellently maintained little hotel right in the heart of Cruz Bay town, convenient to everything including restaurants and shopping, cabs and the ferry terminal. Walk or hike to close beaches or grab a cab to others on the island. Owners Denise and Dave are so thoughtful to provide guests with beach day supplies like beach chairs, sun screen and bug spray, towels, noodles, ice and even a cooler! They also start you off with some breakfast in beautifully decorated garden patios. Denise is so knowledgeable and helpful with recommendations to make your stay even more enjoyable than you expected. Rooms are very clean with a comfy bed and enough space for a comfortable stay. Can’t say enough about the Cruz Bay Boutique Hotel.
