The hotel is at the edge of a stunning medieval village. The hotel was created from an original farmhouse by the owners, Sandra and Josef in 1996, and has been constantly upgraded since Our bedroom had the original stone vaulted roof, but with well designed modern furniture. The room, as do most of their rooms, opened directly on to their swimming pool. And the room had all the modern bits and pieces that you expect in a good hotel room I found the owners welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet to which you can have eggs cooked to order There is also a dinner restaurant, Monki, where we did have a good meal, but that is in fact run by others. All in all, a charming part of Spain, and a really nice hotel to pass your time there.

This is the second time we have come here to have a relaxing stay in a beautiful village. The service is excellent, the rooms spacious with big comfy beds and linen. The breakfast is second to none with a huge arrange of fresh fruit plus good selection of hams cheeses etc with a choice of eggs. Good Nespresso coffee too! They also had a secure area for our bikes with power, water etc in the garden. Easy free private parking outside also. With good restaurants in walking distance especially the new Italian!

Really enjoyed our stay here. Very relaxing atmosphere. It is a bit isolated but taxi service is great. There is an onsite sushi bar and 2 cafe restaurants a 100m away. Food excellent.

Arcs de Monells was one of the highlights of our recent bike trip. The hotel is set in the quiet, picturesque village of Monells and has a calm, adults-only atmosphere that made for a really relaxing stay. Both the hotel and the village are beautiful, and we especially appreciated the exquisite attention to detail in the interior design—elegant and thoughtful. The owners were warm, welcoming, and helpful—we really appreciated their hospitality. Breakfast was excellent, especially the scrambled eggs made to order. If you're looking for a peaceful base in a lovely setting, Arcs de Monells is a great choice. We'd love to come back.

Just spent 3 nights in this delightful hotel by the historic village of Monells. The blend of ancient and modern building works brilliantly. The modern bedroom we had was comfortable and well equipped with a terrace opening Ono the garden. Breakfast was included and was terrific. We ate in the restaurant on Friday night and loved the Asian Fusion menu. The standout thing however was the welcome support and advice of Sandra and her partner. Attentive but not intrusive and very happy to give advice and make arrangements. Loved it!

We stayed at this marvelous hotel during our biking holiday in Catalonia. It is a little slice of heaven and such a treasure. Although the hotel rooms and common areas are wonderful and enchanting, it is the love and care of the innkeepers and owners, Sandra and Joseph, that make this such an exceptional place to stay. Their kindness, care, and positive attitudes were so valued and we felt like family. The meals and bar offerings were fabulous, too. Well done, we hope to return again one day to beautiful Spain and to this delightful hotel.

The Hotel Arcs is excellent. My wife and I stayed there for 2 nights, booked by the bicycle tour operator Creative Catalonia. The hotel is squeaky clean, quiet, charming, and first class by any measure. Swimming pool to refresh after a hot day. 5 minute walk to the town plaza. The attached restaurant is very good. Breakfast is excellent; a wide selection with the option of a made to order omelet The proprietors are very personable, helpful, and genuinely welcoming and friendly. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Would most definitely stay again.
