Nous avions réservé deux jours en famille dans cet hotel, séduits par les photos du site. Nous avions pris la "suite" double au dernier étage du chateau pour la modique somme de 185e. A l'arrivée, grosse déception. Le batiment a du charme mais il n'est plus entretenu depuis bien longtemps et ça se sent. La chambre est grande et lumineuse mais terriblement poussiéreuse et fatiguée. Les peintures sont cloquées, les tapis usés jusqu'à la trame, les poignées de portes mal fixées. Après quelques minutes, mes enfants m'appellent car la chambre est remplie d'insectes (principalement des punaises et pouches) malgré une bonne odeur d'insecticide. Franchement, à 185e la nuit sans petit déjeuner, c'est très décevant. La literie elle aussi était d'époque. Quant au petit déjeuner (10e par adulte, 5e par enfant), il est digne d'une cantine scolaire : eau chaude, café, lait et yaourt nature carrefour, jus d'orange ultra bas de gamme. Bref, nous avons annulé la seconde nuit et j'étais très content de partir avec l'impression de m'être fait avoir.

We stayed here for one night , on approaching it seemed very grand but we found it quite empty and no atmosphere at all . The internet was hit and miss and nothing to do in the area , most disappointing!

Points positifs : Le cadre Le calme La piscine chauffée Le personnel aimable Points négatifs La qualité de la literie ( la pire nuit que j’ai passé dans un hôtel excepté la fois où j’étais étudiante et que j’ai dû loger dans un f1) Un surmatelas serait le bienvenu. Pas de drap mais une couette nous avons (peu) dormi la fenêtre ouverte car il faisait chaud. Nous avons aussi dû bouger les câbles de la télévision afin d’avoir de la réception ( même si honnêtement c’était pas notre priorité) Pas d’armoire pour ranger le linge juste une commode très difficile à ouvrir Manque de transat autour de la piscine , pelouse complètement desséchée (mauvais entretien) Moquette à la propreté douteuse Fenêtre en bois à changer Plinthe décollée Petit déjeuner cher, même si les produits sont de qualités ( fromage, baguettes et viennoiserie) Pas de fruits frais Nectar de jus d’orange ( pas top) Pas d’œufs pas de pâte à tartiner pour les enfants peu de choix dans les céréales Côté salle de bain éclairage très insuffisant Un seul gel et shampoing pour quatre. En résumé hôtel prétentieux mais sans les avantages.

Chambre du "château" et salle de bain extrêmement sales : des nids de mouches dans les encadrements des fenêtres, araignées, murs et sols tachés, lits infestés d'acariens, odeur de moisi et de tabac... Nous n'avons pas fermé l'oeil de la nuit et avons bien évidemment évité le petit déjeuner. Les travaux de rafraichissement doivent dater de plus de 30 ans. Il est urgent d'y envoyer les services d'hygiène !

Positioned about 300 metres East of the Google Earth pin, the old house has a very strong musty smell in the dining room (only for breakfasts). Rooms in the annex are via creaky stairs and can be hot in summer as they have a lot of roof area as part of the room. If you can't find anyone in reception then go to the private wing to the main house (big red door) and shout upstairs. They seem to cater for weddings and this is the main business - wise as facilities for travellers are not too good - eating involves going to La Fleche. We think we would use a hotel in La Fleche if transiting again.

Nous avions réservé une chambre dans l'espoir de pouvoir se reposer un peu dans un cadre calme et apaisant!!Surprise, une "garden party" ayant lieu à partir de la fin d'après midi nous a malheureusement empêché de dormir, et ce jusqu'à 3h30 du matin à cause de la musique(si toutefois nous pouvons appeler ça musique) et surtout des basses qui résonnaient dans notre chambre. De plus, c'est la première fois que je vois un terrain de tennis recouvert de gravier...Ayant pourtant amener le nécessaire, nous n'avons même pas tenter l'experience!!!
