Requested late check in at 9pm and requested a car space reserved for our stay. However, someone has parked (2 cars) in front of the house. No signage indicated that the hotel noticed our request. We were travelling with 2 young kids and arrived late at night. We spoke to the housekeeper in the morning at check out time , and we need 20 more minutes for packing up and bringing down luggage from 2/F. After 20 mins, we checked out at reception desk and the lady (Manager) requested us to paid for an hour late check out fee.(NZD 35 per hour) I told the her I was not aware of an hourly rate of late check out fee. She said it was on our website?? But I booked it through Trip.com, which never mentioned. She said she tried to contact me with the number of +44.....? I said that is not my number, and that was trip.com office number, I guess? That was very improfessional and inconsiderate. Not a happy experience.
