KKirkbyCromwell is a beautiful place and this motel was perfect for our stay which included a trip to the Carrick Winery restaurant and a walk along the Cromwell to Clyde trail. The host gave us great tips on where to eat breakfast and overall was a super stay
李李The hotel is located in a small town and is said to be a fruit town, but I did not find a lot of fruit. The room is small, but the motel is like this. The landlady is very enthusiastic. Seeing that we have children, we take the initiative to give us an extra bed to bring bedding and teach us how to use it.
克克I stopped over in Cromwell for one night on way to Lake Tekapo from Queenstown airport, and stayed in this motel. The senior lady in reception was polite and kind. The sheets and room are very clean. It was early August and room was warm, shower is hot. One surprise is the view of sunrise just outside my room backyard, nice stay and motel.
GGuest UserKitchen supplies could be improved, because there was no dishwasher and no range hood installed for ventilation, plus there was a scary sign ordering travelers not to cook fragrant food. Travelers arrive from all over the world with different food habits, so not sure what's considered unacceptable to cook. The electric cooking stove was old and kind of broken. The windows have no screens so it was difficult to leave them open without insects crawling in and we got multiple mosquito bites. Room on the small side for families as there was no separation. We appreciated the free washing machine and dryer, and detergent cost NZ$2.
