Hotels with Breakfast in Crillon-le-Brave

We stayed 4 nights in Room 33 ”La Tour” which is the best room in the hotel (we asked reception at checkout if we were to return if there was another comparable suite and she said she loved 33 the best). The room was outstanding, terrace, twin side by side tubs, upstairs bedroom, shower with room for two, gorgeous views over the valley to Mount Ventoux, it was ideal for romance. Crillon le Brave is rather isolated and that makes the hotel restaurant the most convenient option for meals. Breakfast was a rather simple cold buffet with the only hot option being boiled eggs that you made yourself. We food the lunch food to be very good and tasty. Dinner was a bit of a letdown, there was not one ”wow” dish in the 4 dinner meals we ate there, by the last night we were contemplating finding somewhere off the property to eat dinner but didn't want the hassle of driving or risking it after having some wine with dinner (roads in Provence are rather narrow). One minor issue we had was with housekeeping. The ”La Tour” room is all about the twin tubs and we made good use of them, quickly using up the body wash and shampoo. The maids never seemed to leave enough replacement soap even after calling to request more. This is a minor issue but at 740 Euros/night thought they could have been a bit more generous, next time we will pack a big bottle of bubble bath to take with us. Would have been nice if the hotel had included some extra bath amenities with the room though (bath salts, bubble bath, etc). We would love to return here some day and stay in the same room.
