Pet friendly rooms are disgusting. I have no choice but to travel with my pets, I kennel them when they have to be left in the room and I gladly pay the pet fee but….when I am charged $20/night/pet above and beyond the normal nightly rate, at the very least, I expect a clean room! I was in 2 different rooms and not only did they both smell horrible, the floors were dirty, bed skirts were filthy, there was hair all over the tub and damage to all furniture, baseboards, etc. I have been told pet fees are charged in order to repair damage caused by pets and is also used for extra cleaning. I’m not even certain these rooms were cleaned at all. I had to go buy cleaner and clean the room myself before we could stay (non-refundable room or we would have left) The hall smells like pet urine and there are stains all over the carpet. There were only 2 towels in the room and when I asked (multiple times) for more towels, I was always told they were out. The breakfast was basically non-existent.This is the equivalent of a 1 star hotel at best and certainly is not worth what they charge per night. Do better Quality Inn Crestview

Our motorcycle group had a block of rooms reserved for our stay. At check out I was overcharged $32.46 and I questioned the desk clerk. She went back and double cried and said "you're right but I can't refund you the difference now, the manger needs to do that and he's not here". I tried contacting the manager for several days and he was never there. I explained what the call was about and she confirmed that the manager was the one to handle it. Finally got a hold of manager and explained the situation and forwarded a copy of my discharge receipt with the desk clerks signature that in fact I was overcharged. He assured me I would get a refund back on my credit card. Never got it ! I emailed the manager several times and told him I never got the refund. He said it was refunded. I called the credit card company and they assured me a refund was never placed. I'm putting this out there because it seems deceptive practices are being used and if don't catch it, you'll get taken.

If you are disabled, do not stay at a Choice hotel. If you are looking to book for the advertised price for a room, do not stay at a Choice hotel. If you are hoping to be given the room you paid for, do not stay at a Choice hotel. If your family is in mourning, do not stay at a Choice hotel. If you would like to see just how spectacularly a company can fail to meet reasonably acceptable standards in any area, by all means, stay at a Choice hotel. We were traveling for my mother's funeral. I tried to find the bereavement travel rate online, but couldn’t. I contacted the hotel, but no one knew it. So I emailed reservations. I had to ask three times. Each response was from a different person, and each time, instead of answering my question, they responded as though I had asked something else. I contacted customer service who told me that we had to make the reservation FIRST and we had to do it through the reservations phone number, before they could apply the discount. I did so, and the best price they could offer was about $300 more than the advertised price on the hotel website. This has happened every time I have ever booked at a Choice hotel through the hotel directly or the reservations number, and they’ve never been able to explain why they are unable to match their own prices, just that they can’t. Their “low price guarantee” specifically does not cover their own advertised rates, only third parties. I attempted twice more to contact customer service. After first ignoring me, they told me the bereavement rate was handled by the hotel, and they were sending a message flagged as “urgent” for the hotel manager to contact me, but no one did. I didn’t realize until afterwards that I had been given instructions to reserve by a method guaranteed to cost more, in order to be eligible for a discount they had no intention of giving. And this sums up how this company sees your suffering: as an opportunity to fleece you. My spouse and I are both mobility impaired, so we reserved an accessible room with a roll in shower on the ground floor. At arrival, they told us that they didn’t have handicapped rooms on the first floor, only the second. This is the second time I have encountered this bizarre phenomenon at a Choice property, and they won’t tell you till you get there. As you can see from the pic, the roll in shower has a wicked curb to jump. A tub-shaped “border”. Front desk told me my only other option was a non-accessible room. In the second pic, you will notice an unusually vacant area for a hotel room layout. It took me a bit to realize there was no easy chair/reading lamp. Apparently, they assume that the wheelchair bound, after popping wheelies in and out of the shower, and rappelling down the side of burning buildings, don’t need anyplace comfortable to sit and relax. On what we thought was the second to last day of our stay, our key cards stopped working. I went to the front desk and informed them. The woman at t

The Good: Night Desk Clerk who worked hard to help us, The Last Bed & Pillows. The NIGHTMARE: PrePaid, Non-Refundable Reservation through Choice Hotels Website for a King Mobility Accessible Room. NOT AVAILABLE, room given to some one else. Offered regular room, non handicapped. Then offered a double room handicapped. Accepted. Got to room, unloaded cart, took cart back. Upon return to room my wife went to bathroom. SCREEM, toilet seat broken and not attached to toilet. As she sat on trying to turn on TV, the AC unit fell apart rendering in useless. I reported this to the desk clerk. She call maintenance man to come back and repair room. Asked us to leave for at least an hour. We went to supper. Came back, room is un repairable. However, we were being upgraded to a suite at not EXTRA Cost. EXCEPT, the TV in the living room does not work but TV in bedroom does. So I moved our stuff from Room 300 to 301. Everything seemed ok. We were tired, so my wife went to lay down. No TV remote. The desk clerk brought a couple up to make sure one would work. BREAKFAST: Served til 9, arrived at 7. We got the last banana, a small blueberry muffin. Coffee and the last sausage Patti. No bread for toaster. FINAL NIGHTMARE: came back from beach. Got in shower. Turn on water but there was not a water diverter to make the water come out shower AND the mechanical tub stopper was broken and laying on side of tub. BOBBOM LINE: pay a little more and stay at the Holiday Inn next door. Don’t wast you time here.

We stayed at a Quality Inn in Pulaski, Tennessee. Breakfast had run out at 8 a.m. when we arrived, with no replacement. Terrible coffee. We thought we'd give Quality Inn another chance and checked in at the Quality Inn in Crestview, Florida. Price was double that listed on their website. Went out to eat. On returning, door keys didn't work. After changing, still didn't work. We were locked out. Desk clerk, after trying several times and calling the manager, got the door open with a special key. Keys still not working, so when we go we prop the door open. TV had no instructions on how to work the remote. After many frustrating tries, took the remote to the front desk. Was given another one, which also didn't work. Finally just figured out how to turn off the tv manually. We are not fussy guests, but after driving many hours we expect reasonable service. Will NEVER go to another Quality Inn.

There were several things we liked here, but also some things that need improvement, in our opinion. Good enough bed, sheets, decor. Good selection of teabags. We rate the breakfast as only fair. We didn't eat early and there was no juice. The hot water took a very long time to arrive! I tried to take a bath, but the plug didn't hold water well. Beware that some outlets are switched off when the lights are. Worst of all was trying to watch TV. The stations shown by the schedule on Channel 2 do not correspond to the actual stations. All in all, we would spend a bit more to stay elsewhere next time.

Issues with this hotel started at check-in. No one at the desk, the clerk was in an alcove just off the desk on her phone and seemed perturbed that she had a customer. I had done a reservation online, so she looks at my ID, hands me my room key and that’s it, no signature on a check in form. A few days later I find the hotel appeared as a no-show so I had to spend an hour on the phone to get my rewards points credited to my account. I get to the room and the door is propped open with the safety latch. I am anticipating the room to be a mess, but it looks made-up. Only later I realize the maid neglected to restock the towels and the tissue box is empty. The sink drained very, very slowly. I also discover that the dead-bolt doesn’t work and the security latch doesn’t work. The door looks to have been sloppily replaced after being bashed in by the looks of the door frame. No security for the room. At check-out I ask for a receipt and I’m told I will get one by email - still waiting on that.

Absolutely do not stay here! We had a reservation for two nights. We arrived and the desk clerk checked us in, upon entering the room is when the nightmare began. The air conditioner wasn't functioning properly, it wouldn't change settings at all and barely blew, the front of it was busted. There were stains all over the bedding, the table had residue and finger prints everywhere, the light fixture in the bathroom was destroyed, the chair was frayed and stained. We hadn't even taken anything off the luggage cart yet. I went and notified the desk we needed a new room and he informed me there were no more since we had our dog. So I told him he needed to contact the manager so we could cancel and get a refund. I had two kids with me, as a mother there is no way I was going to allow them to sleep in those nasty beds. He told me we could go ahead and leave and the manager would look it over. I asked him to have the manger to call me immediately because I needed to know they'd be refunding me. We had been traveling since 7 in the morning, didn't get there till 8 and now had to continue on another 4 hours to our final destination because we no longer had a room. They have charged me 3 times now totally $610 for a room we didn't stay in. We took photos and video of the situation. No phone calls from management have been returned.

If you like dirty sheets, faulty smoke detectors, moldy showers, accusations of theft, and terrible customer service, then this is the place for you. My family and I were in town for a funeral and decided to stay here with joining rooms. Upon entering our rooms we notice that one rooms AC was not working, one room had a smoke detector with missing batteries and not working, 3 out of the 4 beds between the two rooms had stained sheets, and an abundance of mold in both bathrooms/showers. My sister and I immediately went to the front desk, told them the issues and let them know we would not be staying and wanted to know our options for compensation. My sister booked through a 3rd party site and was able to get her hotel stay transferred to another location and the difference paid (primarily bc Rochelle, the front desk agent admitted to the issues to the 3rd part). When it came to my room I was told that the manager was the only one who could issue refunds and he was at another property. No solution was offered and I pretty much waited an hour plus trying to see what my options were until finally i was told I would get a refund when the manager came in that evening after his shift. After several attempts to contact the property the next day I stopped by to find I was only issued a partial refund bc I “was in the room for more than an hour” which was untrue. It was also insinuated that my family stole towels (the towels were so filthy I wouldn’t wipe my behind with them), and that there was some sort of incident between myself and Rochelle. The manager was onsite when I walked in and behind the counter. He walked away after another employee pulled him into the office and told him who I was. Additionally Rochelle said that she had not seen him though he was standing right behind her when I walked in. When I got to speak with him he was defensive, un-empathetic and seemed generally annoyed at the situation. These people know the quality of their property and take every opportunity to keep your money when guest demand quality service. The two times that I was at the front desk at least two other guest came up with complaints. While I’m sure they well come on here and try to defend themselves, they are all very aware of the events that took place and how wrong they are. Do not stay here.
