The Old Town Inn, in my opinion, is a wonderful place to stay. We were fortunate to stay for three nights in early October. Although not a new motel, it is clean, comfortable, and the employees are extremely nice. The breakfast was good and the afternoon cookies were wonderful. I heartily recommend the Old Town Inn when in Crested Butte.

Wonderful stay — quiet, very clean, and comfortable. How many hotels have you stayed in where the light globes over the mirror were free from dust and sparkling?! So great to have staff that take that kind of pride! The continental style breakfast was really lovely too. The breakfast hostess paid attention to every detail making sure that it was stocked and clean. We’d go back.

The Inn is located within walking distance to the majority of the town. Staff was wonderful and very helpful. Nice outside sitting area and hot tub were available, hot tub was refreshing after a long day. Fresh cookies and coffee in lobby in afternoon. Wonderful stay and would stay again.

This is the best place to stay in crested Butte. Hands-down. You can walk to a delicious deli, the grocery store, the shuttle stop, and all the stores in Crested Butte. The owners really care about the quality of your stay. The rooms are extremely clean and well appointed. We’ve stayed here several times and consider it one of our favorite places in the world!!

There are not enough words to express re: my experience at the Old Town Inn. My plans had changed last minute and I had to cancel my initial reservation that I had had for months. However, the staff was able to accommodate me when I found that I was able to take the trip. The room, hotel, grounds were very clean, inviting, comfortable and room had a nice view. The Old Town Inn is also close to everything like shops, stores, restaurants. The staff, Bernadette, Mamie, and others, were so kind and helpful - top of the line. Cookies were baked in the afternoon to share among the travelers which was also nice. Then, when I returned home, I found that I had left some jewelry. Lo and behold, it was found and mailed to me in less than a week after getting back home! I recommend the Old Town Inn hands down, no question. My son stayed in a different location with his friends, but helped me unpack at Old Town Inn and he was impressed as well. If and when we ever return to Crested Butte, which is a lovely place, we will most definitely stay at Old Town Inn. Thanks to all of you.

Basic essentials are met. Breakfast was adorable and economical. Clean and pleasant. Ideal location. Noise can be an issue depending on the situation. Pets allowed. I'd say it's between 3-4 stars. Next time I would likely stay elsewhere but wouldn't be crushed if I had to stay there again. Hot tub was great but the water was off-putting. Lots of grey brown soap scum.

We stayed here last week for work. They have a really bad mold odor just as you crest the landing at the top of the stairs, and it appears some of the ceiling is not fastened suggesting a roof leak. Also, the breakfast was not at all what I was expecting. It consisted of hardboiled eggs, a couple of bagels, and tiny muffins. If you choose to eat here, you'll be hungry again within the hour.

We had a very nice stay at Old Town Inn. We liked the friendly staff, the comfortable bed, the clean room, the very nice breakfast each morning, the cookies in the afternoon, and the location. This was our second stay here and we will return again.

I wanted to like this hotel so much more, especially given the positive reviews. But, I don’t get it. The good: - The location is great - easy walking to town, and ample parking. - The staff were very friendly and helpful. The not so good: - Our room on the first floor smelled musty. - The bedspreads and window coverings/shears need to be washed. The room was clean, but just old. - It looked like the hotel needed a new roof? - Breakfast was basic and far from hearty. They had canned fruit, whole fruit, oatmeal packets, frozen bagels and frozen little pastries. No cereal. No coffee maker in the rooms. - The tile in our bathroom was broken, and it moved every time it was stepped on. - There are dogs; great - I love dogs. What isn’t great is when people leave their dogs in the room for more than two hours and the dogs bark the entire time.
