Scottish Inns Cresson

The Hotel is a little overpriced for the condition of the facility. The room was clean and smelled fresh but the carpet and furniture had a lot of stains. The bathroom could use some drywall repair and the tub had unsightly rust stains around the faucet area. The free breakfast was not very appetizing but there is a Sonic within site of the hotel. On a positive note, the desk clerk was very nice and JJ her "assistant" was very pleasant.

We spent two nights here in order to attend a memorial service for a family member. The room and furnishings were somewhat dated, but it was very was clean. The TV was small and the cable had mostly shopping channels. The air conditioner worked well, but ran continually (fortunately, that's the way we like it!). The towels were so coarse, you could ***** paint, BUT, they were really good for sanding my heels. The "Luxury Soap" provided were the smallest I've ever seen. The breakfast did have a waffle maker, but was mostly dry cereal and some fruit, etc. other than that. This all may sound somewhat familiar, but we paid high nineties per night even after an alleged bereavement discount.
