This was the most hilariously disgusting place I've ever stayed. From the fake eyelash stuck to the floor at check-in to the hair on the sheets to the stained pillowcases to the patched bulletholes?? on the shower surround to the seeping stained walls to the mildew along all corners and baseboards to the handprints and weird stains on every wall and surface....what a treat! We ended up taking our sleeping bags (we've been camping along the west coast) out of our car and using those on top of the bed! I'm glad I have a sense of humor but this place should be burned to the ground.

Friendly and helpful front desk staff. We were made to feel welcome immediately. It was nice to have an actual bathtub and the water pressure in the shower was really strong. Location is excellent, within walking distance to a beautiful park, beach, and restaurant/brewery. Reasonably priced. Disliked · The rooms need a serious remodeling - especially the toilet/bath area, which had cracked wood and permanent stains in the tub. Everything appeared to have been cleaned properly, but the hotel definitely needs a face lift.

GREAT OWNERS, Super Service
It was amazing. The rooms were super clean small but quiet, had a mini fridge and microwave. The beds were very comfortable and oillows soft and fluffy. The owners in the office WERE SUPER DUPER SWEET, NICE, ACCOMMODATING!!! We would definately stay there again, as a matter of fact we are going back in July and are planning on staying there again.

Traveling south with my mom and brother, and saw that this hotel was close to the beach and offered the 3 beds we needed. However, upon arriving we learned our room was up a flight of stairs (with no elevator which is hard for older folks!). The room had a musky odor, and the beds were very uncomfortable and squeaky. The sheets had dark hair stuck to them. The last straw was the presence of homeless people all around the location, making us feel like we were not safe there overnight. It just wasnt going to cut it for us. We found another room last minute and didnt even unpack our things.

The staff was helpful, the room was clean and the offered everyday maid service. The location was great just a short walk to the ocean and @5 miles to Smith Redwood Forest.
