Travelodge by Wyndham Crescent City

Was nice! Pretty clean pretty comfy

Please look into this hotel. When I arrived to check in at ~6pm, there was nobody in the office. I rang the smart doorbell camera and no response. I called the office and could hear the phone ring inside, it went to voicemail . I knocked and rang the door for about 3 minutes when I decided to return to my vehicle to figure out what to do next. As I was about to get in my vehicle, a young guy came out of a room and asked if I needed something. He checked me in and never apologized for the delay. Upon inspecting the room, we found old takeout in the refrigerator! Having old food left in a refrigerator is unacceptable. The room was clean enough, but come on. We threw out the old food and aired out the fridge to get rid of the smell. Later that night I went to take a shower and found there was very limited hot water. It turned cold, literally cold, after about a minute. I was in no mood for a cold shower! The sink also ran old, so there is some issue with the hotel hot water system. In the morning there was warm water again, but certainly not hot water. Lastly, there is no breakfast at this location. The pictures clearly show a free breakfast. One of the reasons we stayed there was for a quick bit to eat. When I went to checkout, ~8:30am there was nobody in the office again. Had to wait minutes before anyone showed up. Again! All in all, we canceled our reservation for the next night. This place should not be a part of the Wyndham chain. Very very frustrating.

The lady who ran the front desk (pretty sure she did everything) was amazing.
