Best Western Plus Crawfordsville Hotel

I'm a 25-year, retired Air Force veteran. My family travels to Crawfordsville ( renting multiple rooms) every year to visit family. We exclusively have stayed at this Best Western for the past several years. The facility has slowly deteriorated , and now we're done! This last visit was absolutely awful. The rooms were visible dirty, urine in the toilets, animal hair on the floor. When I addressed it to the desk clerk, she informed me that she had no cleaning supplies for me. I went to Walmart, purchased cleaning supplies, cleaned the kitchen, bathroom, and floor myself. What i didn't realize was that the sofa was infested with fleas. I got bitten, and our clothes were totally covered by the time we checked out. The manager emailed me the standard "canned. " ...we're sorry....and we're going to take this seriously and hope we get the chance to do better! Are you kidding me? By the time we drovet back to New Mexico, my wife and I were covered with bites. Extra strength, Benadryl creams worked the best.

Rate was best for the day. Room was nice enough but AC was only keeping the room reasonable. Hallway AC was not working leaving very musty smell. Hopefully they will fix that with summer heat now upon us.

The staff here was wonderful and the front desk was very helpful. The breakfast was grate, The cook made some really good omelets. The pool was nice and the sauna was a good bonus for our family. I will defiantly be staying here again on our next trip to the area.

had the most wonderful stay the hotel staff was friendly the room was clean breakfast was amazing will defintely be back the front desk and housekeeper was so wonderful the fresh made omletes was a big bonus loved the topping selection for the yogurt bar and the kids loved the waffles

The staff at check-in was very friendly and efficient. Unfortunately, the stay went downhill quickly after check-in. The shower area was dirty (layers of dirt and soap scum that showed it had not been cleaned properly in quite a while). The air conditioner constantly blew the curtains so they didn't stay closed if the AC ran. The food at breakfast was terrible. The scrambled eggs had a fishy taste, the potatoes were not cooked thoroughly, and the machine-coffee was poor. For a BW+, I expect much higher standards.

The service was amazing and the rooms were cleaned perfectly and the breakfast was delicious and the pool and sauna were amazing just my experience over all was amazing and the front desk gave out good food places and things to do in the little town of Crawfordsville
