My wife and decided to have lunch today at the Old Inn Crawfordsburn. A beautiful setting, great ambience, lovely staff, however, at the suggestion of our waitress I foolishly ordered still water for our table. My meal, fish and chips, was tasty but not exceptional, my wife had a burger and was quite pleased with her meal. Food wise, quite good value, however the half litre of still water, which came to our table in an opened Ballygowan Water bottle cost £6.50. How can this price be justified even accepting it was Ballygowan Still Water we were served? We may lunch again at The Old Inn Crawfordsburn but we will certainly not be ordering still water at that price. This episode simply took from what should have been an enjoyable experience.
