Somewhat disappointing overall. The front desk should have gone over all the resort had to offer as it was our first time staying there. It was our Anniversary, so thought we would treat ourselves to a night away…our son and daughter in law had ordered a bottle of wine and charcuterie board for our room, so I would have assumed they would have known, but there was no mention of it..I saw the price that was paid for this, and frankly, it was not worth 1/2 of the price they paid..again, disappointing. Our room was ok…the balcony could use some talc and we were woken the next morning at 7:30 am by a septic truck and smell outside of our room. I don’t think I would recommend this to friends and would probably think twice about returning.

No air conditioning in 28 degree Celsius heat. Mgmt says sorry, it’s not working and there is nothing we can do. This after 3 requests then got called a liar saying we only reported it once. Inept staff. Nice grounds but also couldn’t get service at the golf restaurant. Waited 45 min for a drink. Then left.

We recently stayed for one night as part of a golf getaway (note: we didn't golf at St. Eugene, but Cranbrook golf course). The hotel has a nice exterior, and a welcoming reception. Though our two rooms were booked together, they were on two different floors which was too bad, as it would have been nice to have been placed side by side. We used the pool both at night and in the early am, it was heated and lovely even with the cooler July weather we experienced. Rooms are nice, but could use a refresh in decor to give a slight update. Two downsides: upon using the shower for the first time, there were long black hairs in the soap dish and on the wall. This tells me that the shower was not cleaned (or not cleaned very well!). The coffee machine also didnt work, and leaked all over the counter. Besides those two issues, we would stay here again if we returned to Cranbrook.

Exceptional staff at the hotel. Each were professional, friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well appointed. The grounds were well manicured and lovely.

had breakfast at 19th hole double bogey .the eggs were hard boiled, there was no avocado or tomato. Only potatoes and a little bit of yellow peppers. Never ever had hard boiled eggs that were 'poached'

1/5 terrible experience, rooms dirty and run down. Charged for a cot that was told was complimentary. When took up with the reservation manager was told that was not the case. This is the second time we have visited and we will not be making a third visit.
