Best place in town can’t go wrong with this place

Found this gem on our way to Michigan. Lovely area with plenty of micro-breweries to explore and a cool restaurant next door. The folks that work there are extremely friendly and welcomed us back when we made our way home a few days later. We made full use of the fitness center and would have enjoyed the pool if we had remembered our suits (next time!). We saw many staff members working to keep everything in nice condition. We’ll be back!

Wyngate by Wyndam is a very nice hotel. It is centrally located to the Grove City Outlets. It is clean and nicely decorated. They have a nice breakfast. Some of the downsides include: only one entrance, so your room may be farther than you’d like especially when carting things in and out. The pool is permanently closed.

This Wyndham property was one of the cleanest, freshest, and nicest properties we've stayed at in years. I would recommend it, and bring your swim suite.

To avoid Pittsburgh's fireworks, we stayed here July 4th & 5th, 2024 & had a pleasant stay; so, we reserved a room for July 4th weekend 2025. My complaints range from irritation & amenities to safety concerns. My primary complaint is the lack of care or responsiveness of the front desk. Fireworks were being shot off around kids, other guests, pets, & vehicles on both nights of our stay - with full knowledge & approval of staff. In addition, small kids were allowed to literally fall on other guests in the hot tub (while their parents consumed alcohol in the pool area). I spoke with Manager Karim, who contacted me about 24 hours after I called Wingate; he could not offer a refund because I used Priceline (a mistake I won't make again). It was crystal clear that priority was given to the block of entitled soft ball teams. We will not stay here again & do not recommend it because we can't trust the staff to give a single . . . As far as the room, the AC was a bit of a battle - difficult to get the temperature in the Goldilocks Zone. The TV was wonky - good luck figuring out the channels. Teen girls were allowed to congregate in the hallway (even after midnight), so there was noise. The room was clean & the maid was courteous enough when we needed towels to be swapped. The man who vacuums is courteous. Safety Concerns: Allowing guests to take over the parking lot seems sketchy, especially if you're trying to navigate around them tailgating & the renovation trailers. Allowing guests to shoot off fireworks that move along the ground seems dangerous around vehicles & kids. Allowing poppers to be set off on the lobby stairs is a hazard to other guests & pets (unpopped poppers especially). We stayed here to avoid Pittsburgh fireworks, not have them set-off near entrance ways into the hotel. Allowing children to repeatedly fall on guests in the hot tub & climb on gym equipment while their parents drink beer in the pool area. Walkability: wouldn't say it's very walkable by some standards but it does have several restaurants & shopping within walking distance. There's a Sheetz across the way and a Primanti Bros. right next door. There is also a mall across the street -sadly, the Spirit Halloween wasn't open yet. Food & drinks: The breakfast was what you would expect - I love waffles, so that was a plus. The breakfast guy was courteous and worked diligently to keep the space clean & food filled. Extra Details: If you stay during the same time as sports ball teams, understand that they're given carte blanche. Children are allowed by staff to essentially take over hallways & the 1 working elevator; parents are allowed to take all the ice for their coolers (despite Sheetz being across the way). This block will be given priority & desk clerks are unlikely to be responsive to the concerns or complaints of other guests. (I spoke with 3 different desk clerks on 3 different days; the response was the same - who cares, even about fireworks.)
