The Accommodation staff (Liz) was very accommodating with request.. Warm and cozy room.

Nice place. Clean enough but damp growing up the walls. Comfortable beds. Wifi code could be explained better. Room very hot, had to open the windows and we heard lots of noise and screaming from the local pubs. TV is complicated to use. Manual could be handy.

Me and my partner stayed here for 1 night and can absolutely say we will be coming back, the bed was one of the comfiest I’ve ever slept in and the owners are very helpful and polite, with extremely quick response times! Would definitely recommend!

The first time I visited Quarrie House last year it was great so I booked it again this year for my trip to Cramlington. This year it was horrific. I was traveling with my young son and we arrived later in the evening. We were assigned room 11 which was not in the main house, but outside on the car park. It was absolutely awful. Cold, damp, but that would have been fine except the room had not been cleaned prior to our arrival, in fact it didn’t seem like it had been cleaned for quite some time. The bed sheets were dirty and full of someone else's hair and body hair and stained. The bed hd been made, but the sheets were used and filthy. The bathroom had been used, body hair and fluff on toilet seat. There was a floor mirror (or rather a mirror that was leaning on the floor) covered in what I can only assumed was bodily fluids. Absolutely disgusting. The walls were yellow with damp, skirting boards crumbled, doors hanging off hinges. Completely unfit to be leased as a guest room. I tried to contact the out of hours number because all I wanted was a room Change or at minimum some clean sheets. There was no response by call, text or email. In the end I had to get a taxi to a different hotel. There was no way I was prepared to sleep on dirty sheets in a horrible damp, unclean room at the back of a hotel that clearly wasn’t part of the main hotel. There was no one on site to help and I still have not received a call or email or any response to my countless messages. Take a look at the photos. The positive reviews are for rooms in the main house. The room I got was nothing short of an outhouse. Why the heck did they put a woman and a child in an annex on the car park that hadn’t been cleaned?! No support, bo response to contact my text, call or email.

I stayed at Quarrie House once before in the main house and it was great. This time I booked 3 nights for me and my son and was assigned room 11. I checked in late at night and first off couldn’t find the room because it was outside separate to the main house off the back car park. There was no light so I was in the dark trying to access the room. The room was absolutely disgusting. The bathroom door was hanging off the hinges, neither of the two beds had been cleaned. Both had clearly been slept in with hairs and dirt all on the inside. The walls were yellow and damp, the skirting boards were crumbling. Couldn’t have been much worse. The bathroom was gross. The toilet seat covered in hair and debris from being used. The absolute last straw was when my son asked what was on the mirror (on the floor leaning against the wall) and all Incan guess was that it was body fluid. Absolutely disgusting. I tried to call the out of hours number to ask for a room change. No answer. Left message. Texted. No response. I decided to leave and at 10:30pm had to find another place to stay with my son. I emailed the company. No response. They took my money and I can’t reach anyone. The shame of it all is that my first visit in the main house last year was great. All I needed was a room change but there is no one on site and no one answering the out of hours number. I have still had no response. This property shouldn’t be allowed to sell its rooms on ******* if there is no support or communicatio

Quarrie House Guesthouse is a hidden gem! Our stay was absolutely delightful, with friendly hosts and cozy rooms that felt like home. The atmosphere was perfect for relaxation, and the location was convenient. We can’t wait to return for another amazing experience! Highly recommended!
