Located conveniently near the beach, the property provides stunning pool, rooftop spa, and attentive staff offering exceptional service. However, some guests found the 2-story suite to be too spacious.

Let me start by saying — this place looks like a five-star resort, and honestly, it’s almost pulling it off. From the front desk to the landscaping, the vibes are immaculate. Reception staff? Absolute pros. Warm, efficient, and welcoming. The hotel itself? Gorgeous. The grounds? Pristine. It cannot go unsaid that the place is surely lovely! But then… housekeeping entered the chat. I don’t know if they were short-staffed or just spiritually opposed to consistency, but cleaning was less “meticulous upkeep” and more “vague suggestion.” Every day was a fresh new episode of What Will They Forget This Time? Towels? Maybe. Trash bins? Who knows. Soap? That’s a Tuesday-only luxury, apparently. One day the bed was made, but the sinks and mirrors clearly hadn’t been touched. Another day, they left their cleaning supplies in the bathroom—so at least some effort was made, I guess? The shower floor remained perpetually sandy, a charming little ecosystem of ants set up camp in our kitchenette, and the grand finale: we returned from a day exploring the stunning Daintree to find our room door left wide open. Thanks, housekeeping. Truly unforgettable. By day five I wasn’t even mad, I was invested. Was this performance art? Were we part of a social experiment? Is this how minimalism starts? So yeah, stunning hotel, flawless front desk, but housekeeping? Shithouse! Blinds are filthy in the rooms and no sheer curtains for day time privacy. Would I return? Maybe. But I’m bringing my own towels. And a mop.

Stayed here a few days. Usually stay in 5 star hotels and this is definitely *not* 5 star. Positives: Clean Comfortable bed Great pool area Port Douglas weather in the dry season is great Staff is good, and friendly Poolside bar meals are expensive but very tasty. Negatives: Expensive for what is on offer. REALLY poor sound proofing in rooms. This is my major for never wanting to return here. We heard every little noise of the kids in the neighbouring rooms, all the time. This was the same when other guests moved in over the course of our stay. No minibar or even water in the room. On arrival were given either champagne or a mocktail. I asked for sparkling water instead, but was told no (btw I'm diabetic so this was a necessary choice) Lack of attention to details: we only had one saucer for two cups in the room. Half used tissue box in bathroom (three tissues left). Very far from town or restaurants, especially as two nights of our stay the restaurant was unavailable/ booked for what seemed like a function. Not a beach front hotel. Alcoholic beverages are very expensive (expected); AU$14 for one cider

I believe that sometimes my expectations are high due to having experience with some great resorts! I also understand the importance of a successful resort. The accommodation was great with the Villa. Kids loved the pool and was great to have a barbecue beside the pool. The restaurant and room service was left a bit wanting in options and just everyday food! Our little ones absolutely love a breakfast buffet! There was never enough donuts 😋. I would actually go back there or explore a bit more. It was not in walking distance to shop. It was very close to 4 mile beach and golf.

Jackie and I had a enjoyable five nights stay here with a rooftop one bedroom unit. The Restaurant was absolutely delicious and we had lunch here as well as a couple of evening meals which were outstanding. a great pool complex here, winding around many of the units . plenty of sun lounges, and a wonderful mix of International staff who are very friendly and make this stay more enjoyable. special shout out to nathan , jessie, clara, marina, martina to name a few. we had a rooftop one bedroom unit which meant we could lounge in the sun and privacy if we wanted as well along with a spa and a rooftop barbecue. It’s approximately 4K’s out from the main Port Douglas town, we had a car which wasn’t a problem, equally there is a very cost-effective shuttle service back-and-forth if you want it for approximately $10 a day per person

I recently stayed at your hotel and wanted to share some feedback regarding my experience. During our stay, I ordered a margarita pizza through room service but was given a plain cheese pizza instead—despite that not being an option listed on the menu. Additionally, the dirty dishes from that order remained outside our room for two full days, and the room itself was only minimally cleaned prior to checkout. Lastly, I had a Yeti water bottle in the room that I realized I left behind shortly after checking out. Unfortunately, I wasn’t allowed to retrieve it, and I was told that housekeeping couldn’t locate it. I hope you’ll look into these issues, as I had expected a higher standard of service.

We had an amazing stay, Rosie and the team provided exceptional service and were super helpful. The 3 bedroom villa, the pool, the food, the cocktails.. just wow! I can’t fault anything about our stay and we can’t wait to come back for another holiday soon!

This resort has a WOW factor both when you check in at Reception and when you open the door to your room. The ambience is amazing. The Bali-themed decor is superb with the sound of running water everywhere. The pool is the biggest I have experienced wrapping around the units as well as centrally. I swam twice in the mornings before the families came out. I also appreciated the beautiful tropical garden. It is an asset to be an Accor member as a couple can dine in the restaurant and be charged for one, breakfast and dinner. It is lovely to dine next to the pool always with the sound of running water. There were some French and other waiter staff all very friendly and helpful. The menu is not extensive but plenty to choose from and our meals were delicious. The only small criticism was that the first morning our coffee took an inordinate amount of time and we were wishing we had gone into town for it. Parking is a bit of a problem finding an Pullman one and it is tricky at first to find your way from the back of the resort to the front but we soon found the right way.
