Perfect. Only regret is that we should have stayed longer.

The room is very warm, comfortable and large. It is much larger than the description. It is very clean and the bath water is very comfortable. The shower head is powerful and the hair dryer is also available. It is better to wash long hair. The front desk is on the second floor of the Yellow House. The first floor is the restaurant and bar. The second floor is the reception center lounge and the famous ancient whiskey bar. The whiskeys on several walls are very impressive. There are more than 620 kinds of whiskey on site for tasting. The oldest The 51-year-old whiskey also has many out-of-print whiskeys, as well as many customized models and single barrels. Whiskey lovers will be very happy. The location is a famous whiskey town. On the hill opposite the hotel is the famous Macallan. You can make an appointment to visit it at the end of January. There are 52 whiskey distilleries within a 15-minute drive around the hotel, most of which are 100 to 200 years old. Factory, very interesting. There is also a whiskey bar opposite the hotel, which is owned by a Japanese and has Japanese whiskey in it. The self-operated restaurant on the first floor of the hotel is quite delicious. It serves authentic Scottish-style haggis. It uses authentic ingredients from a few kilometers around to make fresh dishes. It’s worth trying! The hotel's breakfast is also on the second floor on the same floor as the check-in. It is a la carte style. It is recommended to choose the Scottish full breakfast. The buffet includes drinks and some bread and yogurt. The jam and yogurt are original without sugar and are homemade in the hotel. They are very delicious! The scenery outside the window is also beautiful, like living in a forest. The capsule coffee machine is provided in the hotel room. Overall, it is highly recommended! It's great to have such a family-style four-star hotel in the British holidays and countryside! Overall very good! Especially suitable for vacation! However, the signal is not very good. After all, it is understandable in the village. Although the hotel has wifi, it is not very fast. It is common to not have slippers. It seems to be free to traffic, so it is very convenient for students at the door. Overall good!

Charming hotel right in the center of Craigellachie. Traveler tip: many people confuse the lodge and hotel and it is not easy to get across the road with your luggage, so be sure to check where you are actually staying before releasing your car hire. The bathtub was very slippery and treacherous as there was nothing to hold onto (the glass door swings open). Although the accommodations, the included breakfast, and Quaich Bar were beyond expectations, we had reported that our telephone in the room wasn't working which was never repaired during our stay. Also, it is a purely self-service hotel. You have to get your own water and ice at the Spey Inn that adjoins the hotel. **Warning: there is no elevator/lift in this hotel, and no bellman or bell hop to assist up or down the stairs.

First appearance mixed as couldn’t find the reception but was shown in through the pub.The receptionist was lovely and as we were on the ground floor said we could go to our room via the fire exit which was good apart from some very smelly bins by the door.Room was comfortable and the bathroom was excellent. It was obvious there had been some money and thought gone into the public areas.we booked for a meal which unfortunately was dreadful, roast beef dinner at £34 was raw and almost inedible, roast pork ,the same ,when we told the waiter he said that’s how the Chef served it,how arrogant is that ,plus the fact there was a hefty service charge on everything which made a very expensive 2days.The staff were lovely though ,but would not go back .

So not worth the money! First of all, the front desk receptionist was surly and cranky which set the tone for our entire experience. Seems like the staff is either poorly managed or overly stressed. The room was tight, not very well appointed and some of the outlets did not work in the room. We ate dinner at the Spey which was good but not great. There is no elevator in the building so if you have heavy luggage, you are carrying it up the stairs. The included breakfast, our first day, was good but the second day, they were out of bread, avocado, juice, pastries by 9:00 am. The staff attempted to apologize but by then, we had no choices and settled for eggs. The best part of the hotel was the Quaig bartender Oscar, who was phenomenal. His knowledge of single malt whisky was incredible. I gave this hotel two stars because of Oscar.

This hotel has a warm welcome as soon as you enter it. Beautifully decorated and in a super location. The whisky bar is a must, along with doing some tasting. The barman knowledge of whisky is to be trusted, if like me, you are discovering whisky for the first time. His passion is a joy to observe as he speaks and makes having the whisky a wonderful experience in a very beautiful bar. The road noise from the room reduced greatly in the evening. The room didn't provide full blackout as light streamed in from the sides.

Having had a very negative experience on the phone with the manager before our stay (beware the cancellation policy), I was full of trepidation for this stay. However, the welcome from Jane was utterly delightful and the public spaces of the hotel are charming. The rooms were ok, the road was very noisy and door banging went on late into the night so not particularly restful. Nice breakfast in the hotel and dinner in the pub downstairs was good but very overpriced. Occupying 6 rooms for 3 nights was an expensive trip and the manager had zero willingness to accommodate a last minute adjustment to dates, she was right I had signed a contract acknowledging the cancellation policy, but I felt we were treated unkindly.
