Discovery Parks - Cradle Mountain

Stayed for 2 nights. The weather was very cold and rainy. The room check-in was fast. There was parking space outside the room and a kitchen. It snowed at night, so I went in again on the second day to see the snow scenery.

Not far from the visitor center, convenient for entering the park. Public facilities are complete, and there are many shower rooms in the middle. There is a signal, and wifi is only available in designated locations. Toiletries and towels are provided! If you live in a multi-person room without a car, you will have to drag your luggage a long way on the gravel road.

It is generally clean and tidy, with complete kitchen facilities. The hotel has its own convenience store where you can buy beef, cheese, canned food, milk, ice cream, various beverages, snacks, etc. There are a wide variety of products, and you can cook in the room kitchen after buying them. However, the convenience store is only open until 18:00. Before 17:00 in the afternoon, you need to go to the visitor center to buy tickets and take the scenic area bus to enter the tour. After 17:00, the scenic area bus will go off work (private cars can enter only after the bus goes off work). The children were not satisfied, so we drove into Ronnie Creek again to see the wombats up close, because 17:00-19:00 in the afternoon is when they are most active.
