Flamingo Hotel

I will give 2 out of 5 because the customer service and location was GREAT! I booked a suite with kitchen, arrived to be told they upgraded me to a larger room. Whole appreciated the larger room did not have a kitchen. Also; they advertise fast WiFi. The WiFi in the room was basically not functional. I work remote from here so WiFi is inportant. It affected my work. I had to go to other area businesses to access WiFi suitable for work. Between not having a kitchen, unable to cook in the room, and the WiFi issues the value for the cost was not appropriate. The amount of money I had to spend on eating out at restaurants and finding other WiFi options was very disappointing. The AC in room worked amazing though. But the rooms need updating. The bathrooms and common areas have clearly had a major rehab but the room has exterior doors that lets very hot air in due to poor foundation and construction and the ceiling fans do not have blades to work. There is also VERY limited hot water The most upsetting thing is that I was speaking back and forth all morning of check in with the owner who NEVER shared he was having to change my room. It wasn’t until check in. Very upsetting. I booked this specifically for the advertisement of fast WiFi and the full kitchen. Neither of which were usable. For this reason I cannot recommend or never will I book here again. However, both Thomas and Oscar were great customer service and nice people

Scary Place - stay away we booked last minute - nobody was there after over an hour of sitting in the lobby - looked nasty broken windows - we just left

This is a great hotel! The staff is VERY friendly. The location of the hotel is very close to the ocean with options for several restaurants around it. They offered a great breakfast included in the cost, and the rooms were big and clean. A/C, waterfall shower, and a balcony to sit and relax complimented this experience. We will be back!!
