Great price. Very basic. Tv only plays Fox News. Close to all sorts of taquerias making a Cozumel getaway very affordable.

Excellent service and great tips, also for a non-diver like me (at least this time), without commercial intensions.
Good overall architecture of dorms and bathrooms.
Only minor point: extremely noisy ventilator in the dorm kept me awake.

This place is awesome for what you get! About $16 dollars a night for the shared room with private curtains and a lovely common area with hammocks and little swings. There's a kitchen so you can cook, and a cat who loves attention. Filtered water is provided for drinking because the tap is not safe. It also primarily serves scuba divers, which creates a nice feeling of community and means people don't wanna get trashed and quiet hours are respected. Service is excellent and staff are kind. My two nitpicks are that the mattresses weren't the comfiest and warm water in the showers didn't really work, but these didn't bother me at all.

I stayed 3 nights here. Friendly staff, nice facilities, well stocked kitchen, and clean restrooms and showers. Beds had privacy curtains and personal outlets and lockers. Nice lounge areas for mingling with other travelers. Only drawback was mosquitoes. There is also a bar available. Alcohol consumption is limited to what beer is available. I look forward to staying again!

Best place on the island for SCUBA divers. The tie in between the dive shop and the hostel was seamless and everyone knew who you were, what you were there for, and did their best to accommodate you and provide everything you needed. Highly recommend, would book again. I was there with my grandson for 11 nights. Dive in day, rest at night. He earned his OWD and I my AOWD + after dives. And the Taqueria Diaz 100% (in the same block behind BM) was the best (We ate there five times working through the menu of 35 different tacos.) Excellent dive master (Luis), house manager (Gustabo), office manager (Randa). There were problems but everyone did their best. The photos show what is there. No surprises. Would book again. 7/12-7/23/2022, hottest part of the year.

If you like bare basics, this place is for you. Blue magic Rooms: No place to put anything- no place to hang a beach towel or a hat. No place to hang a dish towel even. No coffee table or side table to put down a drink when sitting on the sofa. When I arrived owner told me to let him know what I needed. I came back next day with a list of a few things - large salad bowl, hooks, etc. but all he let me say was salad bowl. I got that next day. Overhead lights in kitchen/liv/din too dim for reading. How about another or brighter bulb? Or standing lamp? Those terraces in the photos? Internal & private. Owners duplex. Very misleading & dishonest in my opinion. There’s a roof deck with a great water view with a few chairs & a bbq grill but it’s up 4 flights. Bottom line Blue Magic not in the Hospitality business. and they are not very hospitable.

What a amazing find for a great price it was all the things i was looking for clean quiet and staff was careing and helpfull too. It was just a few blocks from ferry as well
