I stayed at Shopnil Shindhu Hotel at Laboni Point in Cox's Bazar, a navy-run hotel that’s open to everyone. The stay included breakfast. The rooms are spacious and well-maintained. However, the beach is just a 5-minute walk away, which is a great. Hotel Area is Largest in Cox's Bazar. Very quiet and peaceful. Hotel surroundings is very tip top. Staffs behavior was very friendly. They have a well maintained beautiful swimming pool with convenient timing from 9 AM to 1 PM and 3 PM to 10 PM. They may improve restaurant service. Live music at the lawn area or rooftop may be added. For kids they may establish kids corner.

The good thing of this hotel is that I booked the room 1 day before check in but they did not take any advance. At the entry they provided welcome drinks. The room was quite specious. The attached balcony had a good view of hills. The place could have been more decorated with better design in the courtyard. The buffet breakfast contains multi dishes with specious dining place. The pool facility is there but during lunch time it is kept off for two hours. It has a good gift shop that one can visit. It also has a coffeeshop inside the premises. However, on improvement point, they should improve the pest management system inside their building. Additionally their room service was not responsive, may be resultant from the ego which generated as it is a govt orgnization initiative.

They takes reservation which is not honored or cancelled. Arrived at the hotel during check in send away by the management saying hotel is fully reserved. Do what ever you want just let the guest before hand or cancel the reservation. Seems fraudulent business. ******* should review this property.
