La Casa con Historia es impresionante, a pesar de su antigüedad, está muy reformada y muy bien cuidada y es muy bonita y agradable. En las inmediaciones hay aparcamiento para el coche y nos permitieron ir acompañados de nuestro perrito. La atención del personal es inmejorable.

A pousada parece mais uma casa abandonada. Chegamos às 18:30 com 2 crianças para fazer o check-in, fazia 4 graus, estávamos com as malas, e ficamos tocando o interfone por 20 minutos sem nenhum sinal. A casa estava toda apagada. Só descobrimos que o check-in deveria ser feito em outro hotel da rede pois um hóspede recebeu uma entrega e nos informou. Havíamos recebido a notificação sobre o formato do check in por e-mail, mas não tínhamos visto. Mas o pior foi quando fui tomar banho, ao tentar abrir o box de blindex que estava emperrado, o mesmo desabou! Por sorte não me machuquei. Tivemos que sair às 23:30 para avisar na recepção do outro hotel para sobre o acidente, Nos acomodaram no outro hotel que é muito bom, e pra nossa decepção, ninguém da gerência nos procurou para perguntar como eu estava em função do acidente. Foi a pior experiência em hotel da minha vida! Meus filhos ficaram apavorados com toda a situação. Vou anexar uma foto do box para deixar bem claro como foi uma situação horrível. Último ponto: as fotos do hotel não são como a realidade.

We had a great stay at this house. Built at the turn of last century, and greatly renovated recently, the new owners introduced all manner of modern convenience while maintaining the original spirit of the house. Our room was spacious, very well appointed, very quiet and private. There are some common spaces downstairs that we also enjoyed as well as a small terrace with a good view of the valley below. The owner gave us a tour of the house and presented its history, and it is evident that she takes great pride in hosting. The staff was also very attentive and responsive. A must if you consider staying at Covilhã.
