I accidentally left my key in the door of my room and it was then gone but not handed into the hotel so sadly it was lost, I did have some problems trying to sort the issue with certain staff but Joanna was so nice and the way she spoke and came across was what you want from any customer service and the charge for replacing the lock was £150 but she could tell I was stressed but it wasn’t just to do with this that was other things also but she spoke with her manager and sorted out the replacement key for free and will not charge me for the replacement lock so I appreciate that massively. I stay in travel lodges every week and I never loose things but as it was left in the door accidentally didn’t realise. Just a side note and just for both the customer and travel lodges sake would be better to upgrade all the hotels from locks to cards as then the only thing that needs replacing is a cheap plastic chip card.
