We had a lovely stay at the Dei Camosci its a 3 star and was an exceptionally good deal through Crystal Ski so it was great value for money. The hotel is clean and cosy with the vibe of a reffugio rather than an upmarket hotel - which was exactly right for us, and I loved looking at all the photographs and memorabilia around the lounge. The breakfast is a standard offer with meats, cheese, breads, pastries and cakes with hot scramble eggs on request, while dinner is hearty and homely food again similar to what you might get in the mountain huts, it was good but far too much food and I had to drop the starter, so agree with other reviews that less food and less waste would be good. The town is an easy walk to the lifts or there is a bus service but you do have to wait for multiple trips in a morning. Staff in the main were efficient and helpful. Ski area was small but perfectly formed with a range of slopes from long gentle blues through the forest, to steep mountain blacks from the Arp cable car. The resort of Courmeyur however didn't wow us just a small precinct with little to look at and the bars were very expensive compared to other resorts. I would recommend the Alpine Guides Museum though well worth the €5

This hotel is absolutely fab. It is a quiet place, away from the main town. I came for a skiing trip and although a distance away from the main gondola of Dolonne, there are regular shuttles to & from the hotel. I chose to walk there and back and it is around 800m. Good for stretch out 'before skiing' & warm down 'after skiing'. The owners are just delightful and the staff are superb. I would like to pay particular appreciation to Manuel & Veronica (in the restaurant) who were the absolute best. The rooms are a wee bit small (well mine was) but let's face it, what do you really need when skiing - yep, somewhere to collapse! Rooms were cleaned up each day and the towels are 'to die for.' The entire hotel is clean (nay spotless) every single day. The bar is well stocked and there are nibbles laid on for you, every evening. Breakfast starts at 07:30 and I have no idea until what time cuz I was on the slopes every day by 08:30. Evening meals are at 19:30 until you leave. There are probably about 50 covers, which tells you how compact and quaint the hotel is. There is a ski boot room where you can store your gear. However my advice, especially if booking with Crystal is to pay the 27 euros for a locker and ski store on the mountain, it made life 100x easier. Crystal use a company called Alpineve, which is next to the top of the Dolonne Gondola. It is so useful. I have rated this hotel a 5 and I have never done that before. It is simply lovely but do not expect booming sounds and a lively bar/town atmosphere, you'll need to go into Courmayeur centre for that. Even the cleaning team are a pleasure and always ready to stand and have a quick chat, they work very hard. The decore is very mountain feel with old ski's, butter churns, original oil paintings everywhere, various mountain trinkets (oh, not forgetting the 1,000,000 mountain goat skulls that are mounted - weirdly felt right) and other stuff. If I were to sum this place up in one word... it would be 'delightful'. There is only one downside to Dei Camosci, the food portions are massive. When I say massive, I MEAN MASSIVE. The food waste is far too much, even though the quality of the meals was ABSOLUTELY outstanding. I felt awful leaving food that was cooked to such a high standard. We were treated to an appetizer (always beautiful), a starter (size of a main meal) and a main meal (size of two meals). I kid you not, you will not be disappointed with the standard & taste. Not-withstanding the volume of food, this hotel gets a 6 out of 5 for me. I will return to Courmayeur one day, and I will 100% definitely be staying here again. Thank you to all the hotel owners and workers. You made a holiday into something much more special.

Lovely family run hotel with excellent food and lovely staff. Staff went above and beyond when I unfortunately had an injury - they couldn’t have been more helpful. Special thanks to Luigi, Mauritio, and the domestic staff. I hope to return soon.

Hotel molto carino e ben curato personale gentilissimo, il titolare sopratutto si è rivelato disponibile e simpatico. L posizione dell’albergo è tranquilla ma al contempo vicina al paese in cui si può andare a piedi e agli impianti di sci. Colazione ottima. Tornerò sicuramente per i prossimi fine settimana

Ottima posizione. Parcheggio all'aperto. Prato con sdraiette posteriore. Interni ben curati, stile montagna classica. Camere ottime. Accettati animali in camera.

Stayed here late February/early March 2024 as part of a CrytsalSki winter package. Had a great time. The hotel team are wonderful and welcoming. The food is local, plentiful and beautiful (although I would say they gave us too much with four courses every night). The room was comfortable, warm, spacious and very clean. All you could want from a skiing hotel: a transfer bus, loads of hot water, great beers and wines at the bar and restaurant (at reasonable prices), lots of great food, quiet for a great night's sleep, a lovely hotel team and pretty good guests too.
