Hôtel Mercure Paris la Défense

Traveling to Paris with our two kids, fatty and bear, there weren't many family-friendly room options, but this one was quite good. The room was spacious, the air conditioning worked great, and the breakfast was excellent. I highly recommend it to everyone!

There's a large mall nearby, and it's about a 10-minute walk to the MTR station, making it quick to get to the city center.

The room was nice, Mercure's standards are consistently good. I especially loved the Nuxe honey hand soap in the room – it seems impossible to find in pharmacies or duty-free shops! The hotel's parking garage is quite a labyrinth. If you park there first, it's impossible to get your large luggage to your room because the hallways are incredibly narrow. You absolutely must drop off your luggage at the hotel entrance first, then go park in the garage, which costs 22 euros a day. Breakfast at the hotel was a bit of a surprise. You have to cook your own fried eggs and boiled eggs, so be careful not to burn yourself.

Great location and the staff are top-notch! The hotel is well-equipped with facilities. The only minor downside was the cleanliness of the bathroom.

The room was nice, and there's a supermarket nearby. It's about a ten-minute walk to the subway, so even though it's not in the absolute city center, it's still quite convenient. My only complaint is that the elevators are a bit slow/insufficient, especially with so many guests checking in.

This hotel is really great, offering excellent value for money. However, if you're worried about the hassle of public transportation to tourist spots and want to avoid transfers, then this might not be the place for you, as you'll need to transfer 1-2 times to get anywhere. But aside from the location, everything else about the hotel is fantastic. Breakfast starts at 6:30 AM and is very extensive, with options to fry your own eggs and even make your own crepes.

Very good. I'm rarely disappointed with Mercure hotels. Reception and facilities were excellent.
