We had a recent two night stay in Jackson's Hotel and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay despite the freezing cold weather. All hotel staff we encountered were friendly and very helpful. A particular shout out goes to Holly on reception who provided us with a fantastic bedroom with beautiful views out over the river. Everything was provided for and the swimming pool and health suite was great. This was our first time staying in Jackson's Hotel and we intend to stay there again.

Jacksons Hotel has become a home from home for us over the last few years. I know from the minute we arrive until we have to leave we will be very well looked after. From our first visit to this hotel until our recent one in November we have always been treated like the first time we stayed and nothing has changed in their excellent service except now they know our names! I would highly recommend this beautiful hotel to stay in, as much as its beautiful in regards to it's hotel and surroundings it's the friendly family orientated and hardworking staff that keeps us coming back..

Great hotel, value for your money, the room was lovely. Heating was on. Very cosy room. Bathroom was very clean. All the staff are very welcoming. We ate in the sister hotel which was lovely. The bartender Marcus, was a great host, looked after us well.

Love,love,love Jackson’s! Brillant stay as usual, fabulous service, food and hospitality. Sitting in the bar reading a book with a wee hot whisky - can’t beat it. Bonus Christmas gift means we will be back to our favourite hotel in February…so looking forward to it!!!

We went for the Santa experience. Over arrived the town looked so cute and inviting and the hotel felt so festive. We were greeted by the friendliest staff who got us really excited for everything. First night was movies and Santa in the hotel. Unfortunately my son got a fever this night and was too unwell to go to oakfield. I got the flu also and it was horrid. But we still loved the festive surroundings, big room and very friendly staff. We hope to make it back next year for the full experience.

We went to jacksons for the santa hotel. Sadly during our stay storm darragh arrived and Oakfield park cancelled the santa express so although very disappointing this was no fault of anyone. Instead the hotel had a santa visit, arts and crafts and movies. They went above and beyond. The staff added a sensory pack to our bedroom for our little boy who has Autism and it was brilliant, he loved it. When the santa experience got cancelled the poor girls on reception had their work cut out but they were lovely and so helpful. Catherine and Holly in particular made our stay brilliant and nothing was too much. Food in the bar was nice and very reasonably priced. Breakfast was also very good. Beds were very comfy. Bedroom was a little hot but we got a fan brought to the room so the 2nd night was perfect. 2 minor things I would say though would be... Reception doesn't have anyone on at night which is difficult if you're needing any assistance. Floorboards in rooms are quite noisy aswell but again not a major problem. We very much enjoyed our stay and would be back. Thanks again.

What an amazing Santa experience. We stayed the weekend 20th December to 22nd of December. We would highly recommend. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by the most friendliest staff who explained our itinerary to our very excited children and they received a beautiful letter. Our room was spacious for a family of five with spotless room and bathroom. We then went for a lovely meal and everyone was again highly satisfied and service was fast and efficient even with how busy it was. We then went to the main room where there was free hot chocolate mulled wine and cookies. Movies on all night and a token to visit Santa Claus for each family. Saturday morning breakfast was lovely children weee happy and even allowed to wear their festive pjamas without any drama. The hotel hosted a magic show at 1pm which was amazing. Then we experienced oakfield park Christmas which was so magical all in the price of the Santa hotel package. We absolutely loved our stay and can’t wait to come back again next year. Thank you to all the amazing staff who I am sure we’re exhausted at that time of the year and out out all the stops for a memorable weekend.
