I stayed here over the weekend of the Armagh game, hotel was excellent, the staff couldn't do enough for me, was right beside the stadium so there wasn't to far to walk, the room was great, it was excellent ,the only thing about the room is that I was situated right beside the fan for the kitchen and it was left on all night by accident so it disturbed my sleep, but other than that I would definitely recommend and If I'm ever back in ballybofey I would definitely stay here again

Came away with family for midterm break, first impressions was good a pregnant lady very friendly on reception checked in with ease! Bar/restaurant staff were pleasant. Hotel is clean and beds comfortable! Got to room no WiFi which wasn't to big a deal we hadn't planned on spending long in it. Went till pool,swimming lesson going on and a small corner for hotel guest to use and children getting told to move from edge of pool as they neeed to be used for the class. Two young girls at breakfast using such childish behaviour laughing and giggling at other visitors disadvantages, breakfast was just ok sausages cold. blonde woman who was on reception at night is so rude the way she spoke to a family as thier children where laughing telling them they were being to loud which made all familys feel so uncomfortable so we decided to go to the room, to where we got followed by this member of staff to tell us we were being to loud, so passive aggressive and stood holding our door till we went in till the room. NOT A CHILD FRIENDLY HOTEL at all. Save your money and avoid if you have children, i travel often all over Ireland with my children and this has been the worst hotel for family's have ever stayed in.

The first thing that struck me in Jackson's in February was that all the radiators in the corridor were turned on giving a lovely warm feel. You might think that's pretty standard but I have been in hotels in February when out of season there seems to be a reluctance to turn on the heating. I was in Room 167...it was massive, I sent videos to friends immediately. What a comfortable room. Great views of the river, and again all the radiators actually working without you having to fiddle. On the Saturday I had the breakfast at 9am. It was so tasty and filling, I had to almost force myself to have dinner @ 5 pm. The breakfast...the best part sausages actually cooked a proper shade of brown compared to most hotels now who just seem to warm them up...I was immediately taking with the brownness in Jacksons and had an extra one...the toast was similar in that while you did the toast yourself the toaster actually worked...in other hotels now, you could be doing it thrice over and it still ain't done so Jackson's deserve credit for attention to these little details. The yogurt to go with the fruit salad is one of the tastiest I have ever had. The breakfast dining room is also helped by being lovely open space with plenty of windows. Beautiful place.

From the reception team to the breakfast team a thoroughly 👌 enjoyable stay.this was our third stay in Jacksons hotel in less than 6 months and we enjoyed it as much as in the previous stays as the staff were very friendly and approachable we will be back again.

We were here for a family wedding. The staff couldn't have done any more excellent services and everything was done as requested and above for the wedding. The food and service was excellent during the meal. The rooms are beautiful but very cold during the day only complaint we had

We had a wonderful stay. We had gluten free dietary needs and dairy and egg allergies. We had the most delicious food that we have ever ate.They have separate vegan and gluten free menus. And a selection of pasta and 5/6 dessert options. Incredible 😊 A truly inclusive dining experience. Staff so helpful and knowledgeable. We will definitely be back!! Thank you so much x

We stayed here 2 nights in January. Got a fantastic deal.we were b&b. We had a lovely room overlooking the river,the bedroom was spotless,warm and cosy.Beautiful modern bathroom again very well maintained. Breakfast had a good choice,cereals, breads ,fruit,yogurt and cooked breakfast. We had a lovely meal in the bar.Staff were so friendly,never passing without saying hello. A big roaring fire in the lobby. Would definitely recommend. We stayed 26th January heading back again 11th Feb.
