Amazing stay comfortable bed, very clean room and bathroom, dinner was delicious food, breakfast was very good to, guy who served us was very upbeat and on point, worth a visit, we would definitely recommend and go back.

We stopped off at The Blue Ball yesterday after reading the reviews. Nobody can dispute the location is idyllic but unfortunately our visit wasn’t the best. The mash potato with the pie and mash was disappointing and when we ordered deserts, which were delivered promptly, the waiter said he would be back with a spoon, we waited 10 minutes and then went to get them ourselves. The main reason we wouldn’t recommend however, was the attitude of a female member of staff who clearly wasn’t enjoying her job and was not very helpful bordering on rude. Such a shame.

Great food...we stopped here after a long walk the place is absolutely delightful warm and cosy. The food was excellent and most of the staff very helpful. Unfortunately we encountered a not so pleasant waitress who was quite abrupt bordering on rude. Nevertheless we enjoyed our food and would definitely return

Stayed at The Blue Ball Christmas Eve for 2 nights. We had the best time, the staff were excellent and all really friendly and accommodating especially with our two noisy dogs. The staff couldn’t do enough for us and made us feel extremely comforting. The food was outstanding and there was so much, we were all stuffed after Christmas Day meal. We also received a lovely Christmas Day gift for us and the dogs. Thank you all so much, will definitely be back, such a lovely place.

The perfect respite after a long hike
It was one of my favorite stays on my Southwest Coast Trail journey. Clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The meal was outstanding. I would highly recommend.

Character country pub
Lovely countryside pub. Great food and good sevice from the hard working staff. Sat out on patio for drinks in the sun. Our room had a beautiful view down the valley. Very quiet at night.

Lovely old inn hotel
