Set in a golf club ground is quiet and a bit oldy worldy. The rooms are comfortable although they could do with freshening up the decor and bathroom. The staff is helpful. The food was ok-ish

There were three of us in the room, which was very comfortable, and the extra bed was only 10 pounds. There are many choices for dinner, including steak, which tastes very good! Service is nice. 18 holes of golf + club rental = 31 pounds. It will definitely get dark at 4:30. It is recommended to use colored balls from 4 to 4:30, otherwise you will not be able to find the ball.

We had a 2 night Stay at coulsdon manor hotel. On a arrival was greeted by Paula on reception who made us feel very welcome. We stayed in the Executive room which was clean and comfortable. Nothing fancy, bed had no headboard but was VERY comfortable. Breakfast was lovely and had a great variety of food to choose from. Chef went extra mile by doing us a early takeaway breakfast as we had to be somewhere early on first morning of our stay. Yes Hotel is a bit tired in places..yes stairs are creaky however Staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and couldn't do enough for us especially Paula on reception. Grounds are beautiful. Would stay here again.

Sadly very tired in all areas . Rooms are clean but badly in need of a refurbishment. Food wasn’t great .Breakfast okay but it’s all very down market . Could be really nice place to stay but needs a new owner with some money ! We played golf and again course in terrible condition All very tired !

Very apprehensive about the reviews when booking and a night before had a phone call from Sharon the receptionist at the hotel giving us bad news that the room booked got flooded and would we mind moving to a smaller room at the cheaper rate and our dogs could go free, I agreed with trepidation. Arrived next afternoon and Sharon apoligised for the phonecall and gave us confidence that all should be ok. The room was fine for our 2 night stay, very spacious. The staff and food was great, yes the hotel is a bit dated but every thing for a 3star hotel was fine. The bonus is that it is very quiet and a beautiful golf course to play on. I wish I had taken my clubs but maybe next time if a stay is possible.

The ambiance is very tired. The staff are not welcoming just doing their job. When we asked forprosecco we were asked to produce a voucher code to confirm. Bread In sandwiches was Tesco value . Scones we had to send one back as it was so hard we couldn’t get I knife init. No cakes as such just slab cake All in all the worst we have ever been to and we have visited many . Sorry for such a negative review but it is what it is

Got an amazing value voucher from Groupon for afternoon tea. Never been here before but was very impressed. The staff were approachable, friendly and accommodating. The afternoon tea was lovely and there was a good variety not too much, not too little. Would recommend!
