Columbia River Inn

We were at the big Visitors Center of the Grand Coulee Dam. We walked across the street and were lucky to get a room in this local motel. It is very clean and well managed, safe, very nice staff offering muffins and coffee in the mornings. We enjoyed the swimming pool and hot tub! Room had fridge and microwave, and it is walking distance to restaurants. We encountered both deer and wild turkeys when we crossed the road again in the evening to see the nightly light show at the dam. I wish we had stayed longer to see beautiful Banks Lake and Steamboat Rock State Park. We will be back and plan a longer stay.

This place is very close to the Grand Coulee Dam Visitor center. If you are visiting the Dam and the laser shows (running during summer nights), this place is good for the stay. Comparing to other hotels, the rooms are relatively small. Front desk is helpful and have muffins and coffee available in the morning, no breakfast available. They also have pool, hot tub and sauna.

The staff was very friendly upon check in and the rooms were small and rustic. There was a fridge and coffee maker and they also included muffins and coffee in the office in the morning. The weather was very hot when we were there so the air conditioner was a must.

Was pleasantly surprised at: 1) the price was reasonable 2) friendly helpful staff, April. 3) clean, well-maintained room, well appointed room, comfy beds, great view of dam 4) yummy local made Voltage bakery, breakfast muffins provided. Such a healthy yummy start to our day. Will be looking forward to next time!
