Reception is excellent special thanks to Tomas and Costi and a big thank you to Nacho who works really hard is good with the children.. cannot find fault with the hotel staff, rooms, excellent! Transport is 20 minutes far! you will really enjoy staying in here!

This was our fourth time staying at this beautiful hotel set by the ocean surrounded by palm trees. The magic of this hotel however is not just the great variety of food, the cleanliness of the rooms and excellent evening entertainment, it’s the incredible staff! Costi and Maira on reception move mountains to meet all the guests needs, their welcome and friendliness means your holiday begins as soon as you arrive! The highlight of our holiday was László! He is highly qualified in Sports Science so his many classes, pool bike/step/aerobics, yoga and meditation leave you feeling energised and fit, while still having a great time! He caters for all ages and abilities and expertly guides you to a level of workout you can achieve. He is a wonderful person who takes the time to interact with the guests every day to make sure you are having an amazing holiday! Nacho is a star! He is always smiling and he also takes the time to speak with the guests every day. His fitness workouts are extremely professional, and he is also brilliant with the children at the mini disco in the evenings! Beautiful, talented Nina organised the evening pre entertainment with bingo and quizzes. She made sure all of the guests had an amazing time. Her aqua dance was energetic and great fun too! The bar staff, Jose, Miriam, Antonio, Geraldo, Macarena and Gabrielle are lovely, they are brilliant at their jobs and still found the time to make us laugh all through the holiday! The cocktails were amazing too!! We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be returning again! Thank you to all for an unforgettable, incredible holiday! X

We stayed at the HD Beach Resort last week and had a lovely time. It is in a good location, close to shops and the sea but not a sandy beach. All the staff were friendly and hard working, the hotel closes in a few weeks for an upgrade, that is especially needed in the bedrooms but all areas are clean and all of the staff worked hard, were friendly and never seemed to just be waiting for the hotel to close. The restaurant was well run, they never ran out of anything, the food was good quality and we always found something to eat, the wine was bottled and again good quality. The bar staff worked hard and there was never a long queue for a drink, pre-mixed cocktails on all inclusive that were better than we have had elsewhere. The pool areas were clean, water fairly warm and the sun beds were comfy, a lifeguard was on duty most of the day. The pool snack bar could have been better and the safe was on the floor of the wardrobe meaning that we had to lay on the floor to use it. We did have an issue while we were there and the reception staff did their best to help. Hopefully it will still be in our price bracket when it reopens so we can come back.

Excellent hotel, can't really find fault with anything. Big rooms, very comfortable bed (though we'd have preferred a double), and an extensive choice of food at every meal. The location was fairly quiet, which suited us, but was within a fairly short walking distance to restaurants and bars. I, also, must mention the staff who were, without exception, very friendly and helpful. If we ever return to Lanzarote, the HD Beach Resort and Spa would be first choice of hotel. I believe it will be closing soon for refurbishment and reopening as an adults only resort.

Myself and my husband have spent a week at HD, all inclusive and we were really pleasantly surprised. We loved it. We had the most fantastic week. The best holiday we have had in a long time. We were concerned by previous negative reviews , but do not worry. The hotel is due for an upgrade so we knew the rooms would be tired, but the rooms are large and spacious. The beds are really comfortable and the shower amazingly powerful. And everywhere is amazingly clean. The hotel is spotless, from the daily room cleaning to all areas around the hotel, there is constant cleaning. All staff throughout the hotel are so helpful, professional and hard working making the holiday such a pleasure. The food options are really good, as are drinks availability. Wine and beers and soft drinks are plentiful with access to help yourself. The Italian restaurant was lovely and a change from the AI buffet. The food here was scrumptious. The Organic Pool bar is a great place for your afternoon glass or two of Cava. Macarena who was working here most days, is so fun, helpful and polite. The snacks plentiful and the pizzas are just absolutely delicious in this bar. Location wise - the hotel is also very close to the town, which has some great shops and bars and there is a walkway along the beachfront so a great location. There is a small bar at the top of the road – Hammonds – which was fantastic as well for watching the football. We met some lovely people and the bar staff are so friendly. Many visitors there said they holiday in Costa Teguise every year and now I can see why they return. It’s a lovely place. We are excited to see what changes will be made in the refurbishment to the hotel. We would love to come back once its complete – can’t wait. This is such a lovely hotel, made so with friendly happy staff and this made for a lovely holiday for us. We would not hesitate in recommending this hotel. It’s lovely.

Bar staff and restaurant staff polite and helpful Room clean and tidied everyday Very comfortable junior suite facing pool Beachfront hotel - beautiful Initially had suite situated at back of hotel facing a car park. Room had separate bedroom / living area and small balcony. The room was dark and we saw other apartments facing/on same level as pool and enquired if we could move. The receptionist was very helpful and was able to Move us the next day to a room with a private terrace facing the pool. Al thought the apartment was smaller it was brighter and more Comfortable I would 100% recommend a pool side terraced room. Food was adequate - wine was expected - I was happy it was a quick break in March and not my 2 weeks summer holiday tbh
