Oasis Lanz Beach Mate

I booked this hotel specifically for the accessibility for my mum, everything was perfect apart from the lip on the door was a little too high for the scooter. Apart from this it was an amazing stay and I'd highly recommend it

Delighted with this hotel. Junior suite absolutely lovely. Spacious and absolutely immaculate. Food delicious and plenty of choice. Staff lovely and helpful and friendly. First time we have stayed at this hotel but very glad we made decision to change as live Costa Teguise. Only disappointment was not getting food left as arrival was late and hoped there would have been some provision as were half board.

We are a family of 5 - from 5 year old to 80. We booked 2 rooms, a family and a junior suite. The positives: The staff are absolutely charming and extremely helpful. They moved my dad to an accessible room so that he would be close to our room. Rooms are very clean and spacious. The food - both breakfast and dinner - has a great selection and is fantastic quality. The pools have plenty of space and we have had no issues getting sun-beds. There are people who hog some with their towels and then disappear for a few hours, but this is not the hotel’s fault. The location is very good and easily accessible to the resort centre. The negatives: We are a few days into our stay and as I write this review I am sitting on our balcony overlooking a building site and listening to drills, banging and builders. At nighttime the music and shouting from nearby bars is extremely loud. We usually enjoy sitting out once the kids have gone to sleep - not this year. When I spoke to reception about our room being noisy I was told that this is where the family rooms are located. So the photos on the website are very misleading. Our view is not of a beautiful pool or greenery and the noise is very annoying. Not the relaxing stay we were hoping for. Had I known this was the case I would not have booked this hotel. There isn’t a whole lot of soundproofing between rooms either. Luckily the air con is loud and blocks out some noise. Bring ear plugs if you need quiet to sleep. Access to the pools can be difficult for those with limited mobility as there are no steps- only one has a ramp into it. The other has metal ladders only. For able bodied couples this is a great hotel. For those requiring a family room - not so much. We are making the best of the holiday, but the location of our room has really disappointed us.

My husband and I have just returned after spending 5 nights in Oasis lanz beach mate hotel. We had the most amazing time. Check in was quick and a lovely glass of cava was offered. We booked a junior suite, the room is beautifully decorated, large and spacious with a super king size bed which is so comfortable. The air-conditioning is very easy to use and works brilliantly, cools the room fast. The bathroom has a glass door which isn't the most private (we didn't find this an issue tho), large open shower but the actual toilet is behind another frosted glass door. There was a hairdryer with diffuser. With loads of space and an easy to use safe. There are two pool areas some are heated and the other is cooler. Very peaceful environment and the bali beds are comfortable. Everything is spotless. No issues finding sunbeds in July. Breakfast is amazing, with loads and loads of choices and freshly cooked omlettes, pancakes, fried eggs and toasties to order. Good coffee too. Dinner had a large variety of options and chef cooking meats to order on the grill. Location is perfect, minutes from loads of bars, restaurants and the beaches. Overall I'd highly recommend this hotel and I plan to return next year. Thank you all for the very pleasant stay.

We loved this hotel, and cannot fault it. The hotel is beautiful, well kept, clean and modern. The hotel rooms are so spacious and very well looked after. All the staff are so attentive and friendly, really making it a lovely experience. To note, the building noise is minimal and did not cause us any problems. The hotel also does not look like a building site. We would 100% recommend!
