Sands Beach Active Resort

We first came to this resort in 2018 with our baby. We had an absolute ball. We are into fitness and we're delighted with the full and varied timetable run by brilliant trainers. They were so accommodating, allowing us to bring the baby along or give us adjustments so we could both join in. All the restaurants were open, the place was buzzing. The next time we came was when we were just getting released from lockdown. We were just delighted to get out of the house. Some of the pools had no water and the timetable was very bare but that was understandable; the place needed to get back on its feet. Two more visits and the place has got consistently worse, now to unacceptable standards. If I won a free holiday I wouldn't bother as it's not worth the flight time. Some of the restaurants never reopened, there are no activities or entertainment, there are timetables on the walls for events that haven't happened all year, the equipment is all broken... But in fact I could overlook all of that if it wasn't for the incredibly rude staff on reception. They are absolutely obnoxious and soured my last two holidays entirely. If it was on one or two occasions I would let it slide - anyone can have a bad day in work - but they managed to make every interaction thoroughly unpleasant. Sands Beach if you are doing your best to have the place declared bankrupt then you've got the perfect team on your front desk.
