I booked this hotel knowing it would be on the quiet side of the Island as it was our first holiday with my girl who is 15 months old. Within a 20 minute walk however, there is a shopping centre, spar shop, beach and some bars. We walked there on a few occasions and it was always quite pleasant. One day we caught the bus to the oasis wildlife park - this picks you up from the hotel across the road and is €5 per adult, the baby was free. There are some smaller mini markets nearby where we were able to pick up milk for the little ones bottles as there is a fridge in the room. Now onto the hotel: Staff - such lovely members of staff who were kind and welcoming. They always said hello to us and paid attention to my daughter at meal times, they offered to get us a highchair if we needed one. Entertainment - there was something on every day (except weds), a kids disco every night with party dances and music on around the pool which, we didn’t find invasive. Plenty of pool tables and table tennis as well as a gym if you wanted to use it. Food and drink - drink is a help yourself basis including alcohol. Every one was polite and no queues. Food was basic but edible, similar things every day which wasn’t a bad thing. My little girl can be picky but there was always something for her. Rooms - no air con but I knew this before we went. The bedroom has a large ceiling fan in situ. The staff had already put a cot in the room ready for us with bedding on. We had a small patio outside which was nice in the evening once the kid was in bed. We got a suite so there was a fridge in the room. Added my Netflix to the telly then took it off at the end. Shower is powerful. Overall the hotel is clean and tidy, the cleaners come almost every day and you can ask for new towels etc if required. It is a quiet hotel but it’s very relaxing. We were the only English people there for the first few days and it was not a bad thing, I still felt very comfy in the environment. We would go again.

We got back last night and won’t visit again. from being dropped off by Jet2 coach at around 1.15pm, room wasn’t ready so in our jeans etc we were told to come back in 20 mins, we walked around, had lunch, went back to Reception after an hr and still no room eventually at around 3.30 our room was ready. We had been travelling since 4.30am so were needing a shower and change of clothes. Room was clean. Food - not always good, Lunch was poor most days we would have liked salad and meat or cheese but it was mainly things like mixed onions and mushrooms or beens no choices. We tried lunch in pool bar - Don’t bother cold cous cous stodgy. Nothing had any flavour. Would have been nice to have toasties or even some Spanish food. Staff - too busy to be happy although for our first few days the hotel wasn’t busy the staff just don’t chat or really smile. Restaurant staff are extremely run off their feet. Works around pool- we were told by @jet2 it would be Mon-Fri but they also worked Sunday, it was loud. We took ear pods for music it was needed. Atmosphere-zilch- no music around pool or in bar or restaurant. Besides 2hrs of entertainment some really good then it was silent. A bit like a care home. Bar - not enough seating and besides the pool bar only the lobby bar were staff were really not happy. Reception staff - friendly and smiley. It rained on Thursday and the hotel became a slippy floor sieve water pouring in everywhere, cleaning staff had to run around putting towels on the floor. Landings became dangerous to walk on, I slipped once then had to hold onto the concrete wall to get to my room. Pool area - very spacious and lots of beds. Stromboli - as part of our stay we had dinner here, omg staff were sending out wrong orders , they didn’t know what each other we’re doing it was very Faulty Towers. We wanted a chilled week away for recovering from cancer, but not quite what I needed. Not for us.
