H10 Playa Esmeralda - Adults Only

Spent 7 nights at this fabulous adults only hotel as a solo traveller from the UK. I cannot recommend it enough. Arrived late at night to be told that I could collect some cold food snacks from the restaurant to eat in my room which was appreciated. Room spacious and spotless with excellent air-conditioning. Friendly housekeepers and all staff working in the bar and restaurants. Having stayed at lots of all inclusive Ives I felt the food was exceptional. I didn’t pay extra for privilege. The only disappointment was that the only nights I had free to visit the al la carte restaurant, it was closed (Sunday/Monday). Particular mention to Kevin at the pool bar and Claudia the DJ. The main man was Wajidi who was in charge of animation and ensured everyone was welcomed. Easy access to the beach and lots of places to fill up your water bottle with still or sparkling water. Outdoor pool still cold in the morning, but once you jump in, you are fine! Plenty of sun loungers. Takes approx 1hr transfer from airport. I’d stay again in a heartbeat.

Beautiful hotel, enjoying my stay as always, this is my 4th visit and booked 5th already. Hotel is big, quiet, relaxing atmosphere. Food is good. Nice and cosy pull area. Close to the nice sandy beach. Rooms are big and cosy, with big balconies and beautiful views. Rooms are clean, comfy beds, selection of pillows. Can’t wait to come back

My favourite time was with Wajid of the animation team. He is a huge asset to the hotel. Kind, interesting , helpful and energetic. Great games and yoga with him was the best experience. Loved my week at the hotel. I’ll be coming back next year for sure.

H10 Esmeralda, Costa carma, Fuerteventura The hotel is in the south of the island and outside of the hotel is minimalist other than the rocky terrain and few beaches. The hotel was well decorated for christmas and the rooms cleaned each day. The first day we arrived the weather was really windy and it wasn't that warm, everyone had jumpers or coats on. Otherwise it was Generally sunny with a few clouds and about 18' to 21' degrees during the day and chilly at night. The hotel is built on a hill, so expect a lot of stairs. The lifts in the main building were in constant use, so it's sometimes easy to take the stairs. It's not very DDA compliant. Our 75 yr old mother in law hurt her leg and had to get a wheelchair to get around for a couple of days, but the hotel weren't going to give it to us due to only been for emergency use only, I had to beg to use it. There's lots of steep slopes and stairs. The Pool wasn't heated and very very cold, not many people ventured in. The main buffet had a mixture of foods for the different nations taying at the hotel ( German's) but didn't have a great selection. I found some food undercooked on a few occasions. The Pool bar was busy during the day and you didn't have to wait to long to get a drink. The wrist bands didn't always work, but wasn't an issue. We paid for the Privilege package which gives us access to the Privilege restaurant, Le Jabel and the Italian restaurant Stomboli when ever we wanted. There was a small lounge which only the Privilege members could access for a few dricks or nibbles. Generally all the staff were brilliant, but one of the pool bar waitresses lost her temper with me because I order 6 drinks for our group. She must of been working all day. We couldn't have a coffee and she said its closed and she basically threw my Mojito which she didn't finish making on the counter. It spoilt the remaining of the evening making me feel guilty. If you don't mind sitting by the pool drinking and not having a swim and no interesting places to go to this is a relaxing hotel. We missed our transfer back and had to pay €90.00 for a taxi
