This hotel has so much potential to be great but there is so much that lets it down. We booked as a package holiday with easyJet and arrived at the hotel around midday. The reception staff were very friendly and welcoming however told us our room was not ready and that they would ring us when it was. 1.5 hours passed with no call so we returned to reception after getting familiar with the layout and having a couple of drinks to be told the room was still not ready and they could not give us a time frame. We sat in reception and waited until 2:30 at which point they told us the room was ready however did not offer the buggy service that everyone else seemed to have to take their luggage to their room. Our room was at the far end of the hotel so this would have been useful for us as a family. The room was spacious and clean, a little dated but this didn’t bother us. The maids work very hard at keeping the rooms clean and tidy. We had a large balcony area. No complaints about the apartment. We used the main pool for the week. The pool is huge and a great temperature. I’m not sure if it’s heated but it was never overly cold. The pool is chained off until 10am. I’m not sure if this is a thing in Tenerife as we stayed at a different hotel last year and they had the same policy. There are security that patrol the pool with batons to make sure no one takes a sunbed before 10am. It seemed ridiculous to us on the first day but we soon realised why. I have never seen sunbed wars like it, people run and fight over beds. On the first proper day my partners 10 year old son put a towel on a bed, another woman then put her towel on the same bed and said to a 10 year old her towel was on the bed more than his! We witnessed many arguments over sunbeds, one man offered to take other man aside for a physical fight and we watched a Spanish woman call another woman an English b***h in front of her young son as she took the beds she wanted. When booking this holiday it was one of the cheaper ones within our budget therefore it attracted a lot of feral, rowdy brits that give us a bad name. Lots of big drunk groups of adults. The food was ok, I am not overly fussy so there was always something to eat for me but for my partner and his son they did not enjoy it so much. The breakfast options never changed so it was very samey however there was good variety at tea time and at the snack bar which we used daily for lunch. the pool bar drinks were ok although they did not put alcohol in any of the cocktails, you could tell the difference between them and then the cocktails ordered from the bar in the evening. At dinner service you have to order drinks from staff, they only serve beer wine and soft drinks at dinner. You also need to take a ticket with you for every dinner service which made no sense when we had our all inclusive wrist bands. On a couple of occasions we forgot the ticket and the staff would get angry at you and their whole attitude would change. The meal t

Stayed at this hotel for 12 days and loved it. Location was excellent, just a 5 minute walk to the beach and lots of restaurants nearby. The hotel was very nice, good accommodation, we were in bungalow 539, spacious, tidy and quiet, the maid came in every day. The hotel was almost like a village feel, very clean and tidy, great pool area, decent entertainment on a night, food was a pleasant surprise, good quality and always loads of dishes to pick from, plus in between you could get food around the pool bar. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall great hotel and I would definitely recommend it.

I wasn’t going to write a review but as my wife has been basically called a liar by the hotel for her review I feel I need to let everyone know the truth about this hotel. Cockroaches everywhere, pigeons in the indoor dining area, some staff are very rude and seem not to want to serve you but some are amazing. Mad rush for sunbeds at 10am which is comical and not what you want on holiday. Food is below average and because of this we ate out a lot. But above all my wife and child were physically assaulted by another holiday maker whilst I was looking for a sunbed and when this was brought to the attention of the hotel manager she told me she can not do anything, however when a deputy manager asked the man in question did he kick them he replied “well yes” I asked what they are going to do about it now “nothing” was the reply. Everyone around the immediate pool area saw what happened even to the point a lovely kind lady took my two children to play with hers so we could sort the situation out as they were very distressed and one of my daughters had an injury to her finger as a result of the assault which the hotel staff were dealing with. Not to mention at least 5 people approached me afterwards to say how disgusting the man’s behaviour was and how shocked they were that the hotel did nothing at all. And before the hotel say I am lying I made sure that tui wrote down and sent me a report of my complaint to which the manager was present throughout. To add insult to injury my wife left a factual review to which the hotel said “there were no witnesses” but there were as I have previously stated and that is factual, they just couldn’t be bothered to ask! Had we not been on our last few hours of our holiday I would have made a police report but unfortunately time was not on my side to go to the police station write a report and get back to be picked up. We will return to Tenerife as it’s beautiful but to this hotel? Not even if they gave me it for free!

We have just come back from a brilliant stay here. We stayed in a bunglow. Food - we were all inclusive and there were loads of options. Particularly enjoyed my daily dose of canrian potatoes and mojo sauces. I liked the fact thst you got spanish and canarian food daily. The chicken was cooked to perfection. Lovely paella, meats, salad, pasta and dessert and fruit options. Even if someone is fussy, you will find something. The dining room did get very busy but we always easily got a table. Pool - there are 3 pools and we went to each one at least once. There is the big pool, a small children's pool and a medium pool. The main and medium pool open at 10ish and are roped off until then. We preferred the medium pool as it was less hectic and the size and depth of the pool suited our children better. There is a snack bar and drinks bar at the big pool and a drinks bar at the medium one. All v near each other so you can easily nip to the big pool for a snack. The temperature of the pools is absolutely spot on. Rooms - bedding and room cleaned every day. The air con is wonderful. All the staff work really hard in the heat and do a fantastic job.

I'm writing this absolutely gutted to be going home. What a beautiful complex this is, probably one of the nicest I have ever been to. We came as 2 families with 3 children between us. Youngest a year and a half and 2 at 5 years old. We stayed in a bungalow which I highly recommend. Lovely seating area outside. Plenty space inside. As from other reviews yes they could do with a slight update, possibly the bathrooms receiving some TLC but they were extremely clean and house keeping were in every day cleaning with fresh towels. Big bedroom, kitchen area and seating area also. Plenty wardrobe space with hangers, safe, tall chest of drawers a d 2 dude tables with a drawer. We came half board, there was something for everyone everyday. Yes some days were repetitive but obviously that depends on what food you like to eat. The dining area was huge with plenty of room outside to eat (Just be mindful of the pigeons, they do like to wait for your left overs if outside) There was no mad rush to get food, it was nice and easy, no issues, just collect your food and sit down. I don't get why people say that it's too busy at food times. Obviously it's busy it's a restaurant, just no need to make a fuss. Pool areas are very clean, there are 3 pools , big pool, splash pool and a 3rd pool at the top where kids club is. Only issue really are that the pools only open at 10am and you get so many people queuing from 9.30 to get a sunbed. Staff told people to please not run for them, but they were ignored. So just be mindful... there are towels for sunbeds provided at the big pool which is a bonus, also a lifeguard manning each pool. Various activities go on in the big pool aswell like aqua aerobics. Pool bar has a variety of options to choose from. In regards to paying for food and drinks, we used our room number throughout the day and paid the balance off every couple of days by euros.. obviously you could paid by card at the hotel. Entertainment was fab, the main act would be on from 9pm. But there was a mini disco beforehand and the animation team were really good.. There are lots of things to do at this hotel Bikes Football Bouncy castle Play area Kids club Mini golf Zip wire There are also lots of other things to do if you like the gym, spa etc but we didn't choose to do those. There are x3 shops on site aswell. The staff at the hotel, in particular on reception were lovely. Really welcoming, helpful and supportive with any requests. The hotel is in a great location, right near dukes shopping centre and a 5 minute walk to the beach front where restaurants are. I recommend the moon we ate there twice and it's so nice...I also recommend el duque beach which is about a 15 minute walk but it's a nicer beach. Overall we had an amazing stay at this hotel, just wish we could stay longer. We would definitely return in the future Thank you GF Isabel for a great stay Room 654

We went here last August, but later in the month than this year. Unfortunately, we felt it was much busier this year than last, and there weren’t enough sun loungers and not enough tables and chairs for the evening entertainment. However, we just adapted our timing to for these issues, by going out in the morning and not coming back until the latter part of lunch service and then heading to the pool. We still couldn’t get 4 loungers together but made do with 2 or 3 instead. And the evening entertainment we missed most nights but had fun exploring the local area, shops, cafes etc, and our children enjoyed the on-site park instead. When we did go to the the shows, the 9.15 shows, our daughter sat on the floor with the other children and we found odd chairs dotted around and popped them together wherever we found a space. It definitely wasn’t as pleasant as last year’s stay, due to it feeling much more crowded, but it’s August so can’t really complain. Everything very clean and well maintained, meals all lovely and good selection. Staff helpful and friendly. One thing we really like about the hotel is that they look after stray cats inside the safety of the resort walls. They’re neutered (you can tell by the notch in the ears they have made when they’re at the vet) and there’s a little hut for them which they get shade, water and food in. One cat (we called chonk, due to his size) was there last year. He’s very friendly and chilled out, but the others are very timid and ferral but it’s lovely to see them being given sanctuary.

Stayed in a bungalow with husband and 5 year old. Pool areas spotlessy clean and lifeguards on duty. Felt very safe. Lots of clean towels. Nice poolside shop/bar. Kids pool was great, our daughter loved the slide. Bungalow clean and tidy with everything you need. Clean towels and bed linen on request. Cleaner visits every day. Bathroom possibly needs a little attention as tiles scuffed and sealant discoloured. Air con worked well but was a little noisy. Saw reviews mentioning cockroaches in Bungalows but we had none at all. Staff really friendly and helpful, helped us anytime we needed anything. Cleaning staff work exceptionally hard and very friendly. Restaurant was good. We stayed bed and breakfast and it was a good buffet selection with something for everyone. We especially liked the churros and fresh fruit selection. Loved 'Big Dave' the resident cat. Our daughter was very taken with him 😊 We would definitely recommend/come back.
