Alexandre Hotel Troya

Nice hotel with good location, food and room service are excellent. Good size room and the view is awesome ! The only negative side is we can hear the loud music from the street inside the room

Just got back from a 2 weeks stay at hotel Troya. We stayed as a family of 4 with 2 kids, one teenager and one younger. We also came out with another family of friends. The hotel is very clean, family rooms are nice and big and modern. Really impressed. We had 2 beds pushed together for our bed and the kids had 2 sofa beds which were a decent size. Bathroom spotless and big. Shower powerful but PLEASE be careful with children in the shower as it has a mind of its own and the temperature can go from warm to scalding in seconds. Really dangerous. If you’re on the side of the hotel away from Veronica’s you really don’t hear a thing at night. It was lovely and quiet. On arrival we got given room numbers and that was about. No info on meal times, all inclusive services, nothing on what to expect from the hotel what so ever. Any info we needed we had to figure out for ourselves which you don’t expect from a hotel. Restaurant is big, lots of space. We stayed all inclusive, something I probably won’t do at this hotel again. Breakfast is ok but it’s the same food day in, day out. We got to the point where we were heading out for breakfast because we got bored of eating there. Lunch was probably the best meal of the day for us. It seemed a lot better than dinner time. Dinner time not so great. A few times we didn’t eat as the food was just really odd. Such a mixture of stuff and really not that great. I get it’s each to their own but we found everything to taste the same and got the point where it was making us feel a bit ill about going down to the restaurant each night. Food is a massive downfall for this hotel. Also the experience of being spoken to like your an inconvenience by the female waitresses was not something we expected from our holiday. Trying to get someone to come to your table to take a drink order was a task and they didn’t like it, quite often looking us up and down and ignoring us to make us wait. It really isn’t great. Oh and please wash the seat covers, they are covered in food from the previous day! The bar outside is a nice big area and shaded but again, the staffing issue isn’t great. We found that unless a member of staff called Olivia was serving you really had no chance of getting a drink or snack. Olivia really does work hard and manages the bar and numbers so well. If she isn’t on, you’ve really got no chance. One day I went up and ordered my kids some nuggets and fries. I ended up waiting over 45 mins to be told multiple times “2 minutes” when everyone behind me had been served their food. It was terrible. If you’re all inclusive you don’t get your moneys worth with drinks and food because of the wait to get near the bar. Other families had the same problems. Entertainment round the pool was the kids favourite part of the holidays. Inflatables, foam parties, aqua gym, volleyball. It was great. The entertainment staff made a great effort. The main pool is a great size with an added infinity pool next to it. Sunbeds

The hotel was spotless throughout, and the infinity pool was a highlight. The other pool was also enjoyable, with plenty of sunbeds, chairs, and umbrellas available. Poolside activities were fairly standard. The food was hit or miss — some days offered a decent variety and quality, while other days the selection was poor. Bar service was extremely slow; we often spent a long time waiting to be served. The location was excellent, just steps away from the beach. Kids' entertainment started at 8:00 PM and ended by 8:15 PM, repeating the same five songs every night.
