We only stayed one night but for that everything was very nice. We had a big apartment with a nice terrace and the breakfast buffet is also good

Last day today and I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. When I first walked in I was a little sceptical and nervous about what I had booked however a few hours after settling in the hotel grew on me. Pool is perfect, temperature and size is very good. However the pool does not open til 10 which in my opinion is a little late. Food and drink is okay your standard all inclusive buffet. Ice lollies from the pool bar are a bonus! 15 min walk to the beach and a 10 min drive (10-12€ Taxi) to Siam park. Overall the hotel is a very good 3* and well worth the money we paid which wasn’t much at all for a week abroad!

Jednego dnia warto przejść promenadą w prawo do miasteczka La Caleta (godzina spaceru), a kolejnego dnia promenadą w lewo do Los Cristianos (1,5 godziny spaceru). My bardzo miło wspominamy pobyt i chętnie znowu wrócimy zimową porą.

While I was staying at the PLAYA OLID in tenerife I was made to feel like I was the only vegetarian in the world and was treated like a leper. On the 1st night of arrival I ate leftovers as it was late.2nd night i had soup and cake and was wondering where the vegetarian food was so I ask the manager and was told that there was rice vegetables potatoes and salad.i have dismotility of the oesophagus and find it hard to eat hard salad and fruit etc.3rd night I was starving so I put rice in my soup to satisfy my hunger. With that i proceeded to ask a waitress about the vegetarian food and was told that I had to pre order it the night before. I told her of my plight and she fetched a chef for me and he said he would cook me a vegetarian curry but the next 2 nights all I got was curried flavoured vegetables. I was in contact with the tui rep via message and he told me to go to the reception and order,so I did. When I got there i was talked at rather than talked to! spouting protocol at me and then proceeded to frog March me to see the restaurant manager ,so they both had a discussion in Spanish and went to get an English speaking chef, then all 3 had discussion in Spanish which i found very embarrassing because every one in the restaurant was watching. In the end I was told to come back in the morning, so I went and found the waitress that I had been speaking to the day before and she told me that they would cook me vegetarian lasagne. So the next night I went for dinner and they couldn't find my pre ordered meal and made me 2 disgusting potato and pasta patties.

I will start this review off by saying overall we had a great time in tenerife. We travelled as a family of 3, my husband and I and a 2.5 year old. The hotel is up a hill and we felt was slightly out of the local town as such. There is roughly a 15 minute walk or so to local amenities - beach/mcdonalds/larger supermarkets etc there are plenty of scooters available for rent about the vicinity if needed - not sure of pricing. Our room (premium with pool view) had cutlery, plates, glasses & cups. Fridge with small freezer shelf, hob, kettle toaster & coffee machine. Along with a pull out bed which was already made within the living space, table chairs & TV. The bedroom had a ceiling fan (there was an aircon unit but it didn't function & there were no instructions on how to use) & aircon in main living space. 2 large storage cupboards were provided stocked with extra pillows and blankets, one of the storage cupboards requires some repairs as the inside wooden section is coming away with nails visible. We had a good sized balcony with 3 chairs and a table with a little pull out drying rack. We did not find our apartment very child safe, the lock on the front door was not secure from the inside (once locked you opened the handle to unlock, there was no key chain), the switches of the hob could be reached and it was very easy to open the balcony doors (5th floor, we were always watching just to be clear). I do understand that hotels are not designed specifically with children in mind, but as being advertised as a family hotel I expected just that extra step. We requested a travel cot, which due to the mentioned safety concerns moved into the bedroom to provide a more secure environment, which we managed to fit in along a wall Overall, the room itself was dated, broken tiles in the louge area, damage to the cupboard shelves. The shower head was broken, so the nozzle did not work properly, where water dribbled from one part and splurged from another. The single shower screen leaked onto floor and having to use 2 of the already small towels to dry this up. The silicon & grout appeared to be black with some mold. When using the shower in the evening between 5&9 there was little to no hot water, when discussed with reception they advised that was a busy shower time and to try to shower at another time. We also had a number of ants in the bathroom during our stay, nothing too major. Below the 2 single beds (which were pushed togerher to imitate a larger bed), it looked like they had not been cleaned in some time as there was gatherings of dust. There was also cobwebs/dust webs at the side of the dining table. There is no mid service on Thursday or Sunday. We asked for extra towels and toilet roll and this was provided no problem the day before. My husband and I found the food very repetitive and bland. The breakfast was the same every single day we were there and after the 3 days it gets very boring, some days we had hashbrowns with it, other days there were

Just enjoyed a lovely much needed a JET2 all inclusive week away at Hotel Playa Olid in Costa Adeje Tenerife, good spacious accommodation, great food for a 3star all inclusive it has a good freshly cooked varied options each serving (the Chinese night was as good as any Chinese Restaurant) They also do the standard repetitive boring same stuff (hot dogs/ chips/burgers if you don’t wish to try something different) , there’s some weirdly funny nighttime entertainment, nice pools, pool tables, table tennis and clubs for young kids and a separate area for teens that has PlayStations, We were well looked after by all the staff, the drinks are local and so you have to go through a few to find something you like as some of it is harsh, the beer tho is Amstel…. Personally go for the Mojito, Wine, Baileys or Beer, the sangria was either hit or miss depending who made it… For a decent Latte order a coffee with Milk & a hot milk and poor them both into a bigger plastic glass and add some baileys The resort has lovely walks on front all the way to La Caleta, and we got sunny ☀️ hot weather all week… Just what we needed A good barometer of the kind of dedicated staff is that there was a hotel staff strike across Tenerife for 2 days, however you wouldn’t have noticed it here as the staff turned up and nothing at the hotel was seemingly effected unlike most of the 5star hotels that had pickets and big disruption for those days…

Not a great stay at all unfortunately and we definitely won't be back. Positives • Room was huge with everything that you'd need if you were self catering (recommend this!!!) • Reception staff were friendly & quick to help with issues • Coffee from the machine was decent • No fighting for sunbeds • Within walking distance of the beach • Shop outside, staff were friendly and you get 10% off if you're staying at the hotel • Pillows are good and bedrooms have plenty of storage for clothes. Negatives • Food, awful. We only went for breakfast & lunch despite being all inclusive and it was the worst all inclusive we've ever been to. • Drinks, awful. Fruit juice at breakfast, awful, fizzy drinks, cheap unbranded, awful, alcohol, awful. • Cleanliness. The cleaners came to our room twice in a week after 4pm both days and the room wasn't clean once they'd left. One of those days I had to ring and request a cleaner. • Smell, our bathroom absolutely stunk of drains, awful. I complained three times, the maintenance men came out and changed something but this didn't fix the issue. • Entertainment staff, they didn't really visit the second pool so if you were around that pool then you didn't know that anything was going on at all. • I found it extremely weird that the pool bar at the bottom pool didn't serve food, every all inclusive I've been to before this has some sort of snack bar available, this didn't. • Pools don't open until 10am, I think that's quite late. We didn't have kids with us but I can imagine the kids wanting to be up and in the pool a lot earlier than that. • Late checkouts were not available at all, although they do have luggage storage & a shower/changing room. • Beds were awful and I ended up sleeping on the sofa bed for three nights. • air con - our air con was terrible, stayed on 23 the whole time despite me changing it and the one in the bedroom barely worked.

The hotel is in a good location of costa adje just up a bank from the beach and shops. We stayed for a week and it was our first time visiting tenerife. For tenerife in general i was shocked at how early bar and shops close compared to mainland spain. As for the hotel again it is quite dated and rooms are very basic looking. I would say this is more 2 star to 3 star. Its the first time all inclusive with non branded drinks but they are free so not end of the world. Alcohol is basic and not strong at all. The worst thing about the stay is the Air con. Air con blows no less than 23 degrees and on a hot day it makes no difference to the room. It constantly switches off also. This affected sleep and being in the room in general. From what i hear this is a silly law in the canary's where Air con is moderated to a set temp. If you are visiting in July or Aug god help you. Other than mentioned if you are after a basic stay in costa adje but want all inclusive perks this is the place for you.
