JOIA Salomé by Iberostar -Adults Only

We had a short break at this hotel. It has been an extremely relaxing trip. There is honestly so many fantastic qualities about this hotel mainly the staff. Vicky makes the best cocktails ever and she has honestly made the trip very relaxing and fun, a cold towel at the pool to cool down is always a nice touch and comes in very handy in the heat. All the staff have been amazing here in particular at lagarto, posiedon and portofino. I have a few food allergies and the alacarte all inclusive for every meal is why I picked this hotel in particular. All allergens are clearly labelled and I have felt well catered for and also have enjoyed every single meal/ Snack I have had. Little platters in room and welcome cava is also a lovely touch. Rooms are very spacious and amneties are great. We have had a pleasant stay. Butler Service has been great and it has been much appreciated all there help with making reservations. I did have an issue upon arrival with macarons being in room which did not get us off to the best start due to my allergy, I was quite upset with this but it was quickly rectified and although I was anxious the staff here have been amazing, reassuring and I have no reservations about recommending this hotel to anyone who suffers from allergies as it has been wonderful. I would absolutely stay here again in future.

My wife and I came here for a break in February and it exceeded all our expectations. The weather was warm and sunny every day. The hotel was spotless clean, spacious and well equipped. We had a choice of restaurants and found the Poseidon to be exceptional. All the staff were helpful and friendly with a special shout out to Viviana and Palenzuela who clearly took pride in their work. Days were spent relaxing by the pool which again was clean, spacious and attended very well by bar staff bring drinks and nibbles. Our room was a suite with a sea view that was well equipped with whirlpool bath, comfy beds and a fabulous mini bar! A choice of entertainment was available most evenings and a good selection of activities during the day if you wished to take part. The hotel was so good we didn’t feel any need to leave the site.

What an absolutely amazing, i would say hotel but it’s actually an experience. Arriving first at the Anthelia hotel reception which is so grande and opulent you think WoW am I staying here but actually into the lift and down to the small but more private and intimate Salome reception to check in and be welcomed into the care of the Salome family, they simply aren’t just staff, who CAN NOT do enough for you. They just never stop from the amazing team poolside to the interior housekeeping team. The hotel site is absolutely outrageous size wise until you’ve been here a couple of days you still can’t appreciate how big this site is. Breakfast is a la carte style in the exclusive Salome restaurant or Buffet style in the Anthelia Buffet restaurant where Dinner is also held. Lunch at the Lagarto Poolside restaurant is fantastic again a la carte style and absolutely fantastic. You also have the Sea Soul, Portofino and Poseidon restaurants spread across the Anthelia/Salome site. Access is key card to the Salome exclusive areas and access to the seafront boardwalk via an exclusive access gate again with Key card entry. At the time of writing we still have 4 days of this experience to go but a massive THANK YOU to Vicky and the Poolside Team also to Joffer, apologies if I’ve spelt it wrong, who is the most helpful and attentive house manager I’ve ever met.

Couldn’t fault this hotel. Staff were excellent. Very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. We will definitely be coming back. Location is beautiful. Good choice of restaurants and the main buffet was great every day.
