I have been going in Laguna 1. For lots of years. Francesca On reception. & also small girl in afteroon. Absolutely went above & beyond to help me. Very appreciated. Rooms are lovely & refurbished. Just need a small table at side of bed For clock etc Beds around pool are very uncomfortable. Dig in your back. Need new ones. Especially as I paid £100 per night , unfortunately the food could do with more variety not enough of vegetables. & chicken two nights as I was half board Not enough potatoes sick of chips. But overall I do like this accommodation.

On arrival we were immediately struck by the look of the hotel that feels neglected and run down. Paint peeling, cracked and broken tiles and cracks all around balconies. As we were on an all inclusive, after check in we decided to visit the bar for a drink. Immediately struck by the 1960’s northern working mans club feel of the place. Couldn’t help thinking of Phoenix Nights. The evening didnt get much better when we went for dinner. Very limited choice of food which was bland, dry and overcooked. After dinner we retired again to the bar for the entertainment as we didn’t want to go out after a long day travelling. well we got 2 games of bingo and then karaoke. This was the only entertainment all week. Although not every night. Some nights nothing at all was on.Upon retiring to bed we were cold and had to contact reception for blankets Next morning we attempted to get washed. The shower is worse than useless due to the very low water pressure. Breakfast and lunch similar to dinner. Tasteless, bland, limited and overcooked. Our only real positives was the room which was clean and the helpful and friendly staff. Like others have said, make sure if coming here you have a pool view room as the street outside is busy and noisy with the local bars and entertainment.

After reading the reviews I wasn’t sure what to expect. This place is fine …you get what you pay for. We have expensive holidays but always come for a week in January for a bit of winter sun so always book a cheap one. Room spacious and to be honest it smelt beautiful when we entered. Spotless clean , basics but perfect for a weeks getaway. Food nice enough , not a lot of choice but nice. Restaurant very small for size of hotel but they seem to manage. Very worn around the pool and walkways but as I said you get what you pay for. Don’t pay a few hundred quid and expect the Ritz !! Location is brilliant.

On arrival we noticed that hotel was looking a bit run down. But it’s a 3star hotel and that’s what you get. Our room was to the side and had a great view out to the sea. The rooms were spotless and cleaned every other day. Our safe didn’t work , reported it on first day, still never repaired. The staff were all friendly and helpful. At the poolside you have constant loud dance type music where the average age here was 50. We did ask for it to be changed, only one staff member did that. The indoor entertainment room was like something out of a 60s holiday camp. Again loud dance music and explicit wording, ask to have it changed, was told this is kids disco time and entertainment ( one 5yr old kid in), told her inappropriate wording for children. Changed to 80s disco for about 30min then back to dance. No other entertainment for 3 days. The food was the usual mass catering cold mush. Considering they not catering for hundreds of people, very disappointing.

Went this hotel in 1997 ...how's it changed .... On entering there us a security guy sat outside letting you in Checked in very nice receptionist After telling us our room number Then read the rules No.friends allowed in. Only local spirits ( no probs) What we have to pay for ect The reception area / pool area / entertainment room / sunbeds still the same as 1997 The white wash walls need a desperate paint ......sunbeds some broke and dirty Pool bar / snack bar looked ok Toilets/ shower room needs rebhishment ASAP We were on top floor .had fab views .... Lift we never had to wait once The room has been done out New kitchen brand new fridge / microwave .... 3 setter sofa in room off about 20ft ....that's it nothing else. No table & chairs No coffee table nothing ....... Our bedroom was fine we brought two patio chairs in to use as bedside table ( put phones / drink on Bathroom was great walk in shower water fab .lovely bathroom. Hairdryer heated mirror The room was freezing in night there is no heating or air-conditioning just ceiling fans I used blanket and my coat on bed . Beds are hard ( it a matter choice with beds I like a soft one ) We had one breakfast/ one evening meal in hotel we didn't have one drink there ...we ate out every day .( there was little choice again I'm sure something fif someone ) not for us .. We went to beach every day as we went with friends who was in different hotel The room was spotless and was cleaned every other day Staff were nice This is definitely a budget hotel and they are slowly doing hotel up The location is fab .

Vile……… Listen to the reviews. Hotel is vile. food is vile- all inclusive but can’t have anything after 10.30pm. Only 2 cocktails included and that’s what ever they make with pop. Everything else you have to pay for. No help your self for drinks and food throughout the day. Food is vile- we went out all the time. Ants in the room. No hot water only for 10 min then it goes stone cold. Rooms have no heating and are freezing. DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL

We recently stayed at Laguna Park 1 in block F, with a pool view. The room was clean and basic, offering the essentials. The kitchen area included two hobs, a microwave, a kettle, and basic utensils—adequate for simple self-catering needs. The living area had a sofa, which we used for extra storage as there wasn’t much space for clothes. The TV required hiring a remote from reception, so we didn’t bother. The bedroom had two single beds; a double would have been preferred. There were only 10 hangers and a small cupboard for storage. The beds were comfortable, but there was just one single sheet, a blanket, and one pillow each. Thankfully, we brought our own pillows, but it would have been nice to have an extra blanket. The bathroom was bright and clean, but the shower was disappointing—weak water pressure and inconsistent temperature (either hot or lukewarm). The show bar felt dated and lacked atmosphere. We gave it a couple of chances but found it empty and with no entertainment on either visit. However, the location of the hotel made up for it, as there were plenty of shops, bars, and restaurants just outside, and the beach was only a 10-minute walk away. The pool area was decent, but the hotel didn’t enforce the “no reserving sunbeds” rule, and many people left towels on the best spots. The restaurant food was basic but acceptable for a 3-star hotel. There was always plenty of fresh fruit and salad, but don’t expect gourmet options—it’s fine for the rating. Overall, Laguna Park 1 is in a great location and offers good value for a budget-friendly stay, but there’s room for improvement in the facilities and amenities.

Our first time in Tenerife and the hotel let the holiday down. On arrival at 9ish pm wr we're not offered any food(all inclusive), we hadn't eaten for over 6 hours. Rooms were nicely decorated but a few problems instantly, door lock didn't work, windows were very poor quality so it was as if they were open and could hear everything. Bathroom had no shelves or anywhere to put any items or toiletries. Shower had zero power and sink wouldn't drain properly. Also woken up at 8am by building work and then once you open door you are hit with either the smell of sewage or weed.Lifts were easily 50 years old and some didn't work. Food was adequate but we had a piece of fish that was still frozen and hair in the porridge for a start. Pool area okay, day time bar is great and outside snack bar, but the food here is left out from 10.30, so if you fancy anything later on, it's the same food, not changed. Entertainment is horrendous. They play absolutely useless bingo where you win a free drink and then karaoke. We had a couple of people in our party who sang a song as nobody else bothered, so without us there was zero Entertainment. Music was played from youtube and the bar/stage area was like a canteen in a school. Cheap plastic tables and bright white lights on all night. We pleaded with staff to turn the lighs off and we got a round of applause when they went off. All inclusive finished at 10.30 so they expected you to then start buying drinks and 2 nights they had NO Entertainment, nothing, no music or anything. Absolutely disgusting. Bar/stage area needs sorting out as so many people walked in and straight back out. Wouldn't stay again. Tenerife is beautiful though, will be back but to another hotel.
